Manga Review: Karin Vol. 13

Published by Hinano at 8:13 pm under Manga

So our lovely vampire series is coming to an end. The final volume of Karin, 14, will be released this summer and conclude this great series. Before I go further I’d like to just remind people who randomly google up my site and never read anything and only look at pictures. If you post comments asking (and/or demanding like a moron) where I got scans, where I download it, where’s your mom, it will probably end up in my moderation que and I will probably mark it as spam, so therefore all your future comments will be mixed with “viagara” and “crazy ideas such as (insert random porn fetish here)” and automatically deleted with akispam. So do yourself a favor, jump off a building somewhere or learn to read :) Anyway actual manga review after the jump.

So while things were going well for Karin and Kenta, she got tricked by that wretched ojikon Tachibana who brought her to her uncle. That scene in the preview which I thought was rape well it ended up being pretty close to sexual harrassment.

Yes he bit her in the boob. Apparently its a “man’s romance” or some crap, that or he’s just an erojiji vampire.

Eventually Karin is introduced to this vampire ho, whose name I forgot because I want her to die in a fire. She keeps calling Karin as “Pushuke” which is basically the nickname for the special “zouketsuki” vampire types.

After Kenta tries to rescue Karin (with the help of ghost Karin), that ho like beats him and drills a hole in his hand with her heel. Karin of course let her know how it is. You go girl!

Sadly this didn’t do much and Karin volunteered to go with the evil vampire people because otherwise Kenta would be hurt.

Kenta of course is determined to save her and Henry asks him for help because Kenta can see that “ghost” Karin (although ghost Karin tells him not to reveal this.) Also Tachibana’s uncle tells Henry that if he tries to get Karin back, he’ll make sure every vampire in Japan becomes the enemy of the Maaka family. Well this isn’t going to stop them! While Karin’s mom and sister stay at home, Henry, Karin’s bro and Kenta go off to save her. Karin’s granny is also acting on her own to rescue. I hope she goes over there and beats them all up - as they all clearly fear her lol.

Karin asks them eventually what this “Pushuke” is, and they basically tell her that she’s a “rare” vampire, and basically a sacrifice to other vampires - which is why she’s an endangered species. What I don’t get is - Tachibana is also a zouketsuki, why the hell do they gang up on Karin?? They say they will “take care of her until her end”.

Well hopefully she can do it with Kenta before she dies, or something miraculous happens that allows her to live. Can’t wait to see the finale!! :D
