Nothing too retarded enough this week to make me write a sarcastic summary. Actually despite the fugly animation and all that jazz I think my soul has been rocked. The reason that the village hates Hayami’s family is they believed they were “demons” and anyone who came in contact with them has bad luck. So like the village burned down their house but I guess they felt sorry and couldn’t kill the child (Hayami) or something. So now Hinata’s evil kusojiji is making her “get Hirose” so that they can have better luck. He also blames the death of Hinata’s sister on the fact that she was friends with Hayami. I think this statue is some kind of a butt god because I always see it on a commercial for laxatives.

So uh what can I say? If you’re wondering “What’s the point of Mei coming?” Well in this episode - no there isn’t one. In the game she actually watched Sunohara play soccer against a bunch of assholes which is why it was a lot more dramatic than having her watch him play a friendly game of basketball. Also again - Tomoyo feels like she’s forced into the picture. They’re like trying to intertwine her story but it just feels like they’re trying to throw a raddish into a bowl of cheerios and hope that it matches with the strawberries. Kyou and Ryou - uhm yea they’re getting jacked on time too. What doesn’t make sense to me is how they’re cutting time out of characters whose endings we have not seen, and keeping characters around whose endings we have - i.e. Kotomi. Go away woman, stop creating a personality for yourself! (Don’t get me started on Pooko’s reappearances.) Also the Basketball arc is actually a “flag” for the Nagisa finale route…so that’s probably why although to viewers it felt out of place, the game players know its necessary.

Upcoming Attractions: Looks like they’re (lol spoiler) moving into the graduation arc where Nagisa gets sick and can’t graduate.

I haven’t been MIA it’s just frankly NOTHING has aired. If you look at my blogging schedule it’s spread out in a weird way so I have a mass flood on Thursday & Saturday with some leakages on Friday. The other days are dry as a bone. I haven’t had any filler posts to make in the meantime - well I could have - but I took my frustration elsewhere. Man this show is deep. It’s so deep I feel shallow making fun of it (and referring to the brotherly grope/tickle scene that could create a whole army of yaoi fangirl fanart/fanfics/doujinshi.) This week the focus is on the 3 brothers and how Ryo says he only takes care of his 2 out of “brotherly obligation” rather than because he wants them to be a family. He offers to pay for Shin and Jun’s new apartment as long as they get “out of his life”. There’s a dramatic scene with some spilled curry which then concludes the episode by showing a mirage of their dead sister Yuki appearing within Jun. Deep stuff man…too bad nobody likes deep stuff and this show is underrated.

Upcoming Attractions: More serious business.

It’s pretty ironic that I had expected this episode to be as bad as the H2O beach one - but actually it was pretty interesting lol. Ren having to go through this whole exercise of becoming a better butler - and he actually did improve his tea serving skills! In the meantime Beniko and the dog girl are out gambling and of course they lose and have to pay with “their bodies”. What I didn’t get is why Beniko didn’t want to “fight back”. Because it won’t cause a commotion? LOL what an idiot. Also I was like “eeeee!!” during the Ren x Shinra scenes. I’m really starting to like that pairing Also I have no idea why but Miyu in a school mizugi made me laugh XD. (And how Shinra called her Miyu-tan lol.)
