What a great episode!! You got yaoi fangirls from the US, except one of them (Sue) seems like one of the “all anime is awesome kawaii neko pocky” types. XD Also since they used Japanese to voice the americans, I was really confused when Angela kept saying “Japanese are very sensible” when in actuality she meant “Sensitive” lol. Also Angela raeping Madarame-tan was overblown but incredibly hillarious XDDDD; I wonder if that’s how the Japanese view the American female otaku as (it’s no wonder at Otakon ‘04 they all kept to themselves lmao.) I think the most hillarious part is how both Angela and Sue have blonde hair + blue eys Also angry Ohno babbling in Engrish is really funny.

I’ve confirmed that this series is going to be 13 episodes. With that in mind, it looks like the Amakase/Robot thing being the main issue and with Koko being walked all over is inevitable. As everyone previously commented and posted in their blogs - this really does appear to be the dumbest arc chosen to be animated. I’ve never played the game so I can’t comment, but I was under the impression that in Da Capo the guy will ultimately end up with his non-blood related sister and that other characters are just there to make the gameplay longer. I spent most of yesterday formatting my computer so while I did watch Shugo Chara and Kimi Faku I couldn’t get to blogging them. Shugo Chara - it was like half filler but half not, Kimi Faku pure spooge - NOO MAO BAD MAO NOOOO. The series is headed in the “NOOOO” direction so expect more of that when I resume blogging it next weekend. So anyway Higurashi what can I say besides YEAHH! The only “boo” was the fact that basically Satoshi has rabies and he’s chained to the bed till god knows when. That’s kinda anti-climatic, I thought he was gonna magically wake up for some tearful reunion scene with Shion. Although Shion’s “Who’s gonna rub my head!” reaction was a bid…unexpected lol. Seeing Rena, Keiichi and the gang totally beat on the Yamainu was lotsa fun though. Also seeing Shion’s manservant beat everyone and shoot everything like rambo was kicks & giggles. Overall a good episode, is next week the grand finale?

After uploading photos, and my computer freezing/crashing (all that good stuff) and converting videos for your viewing pleasure I’m now ready to write my review. This is a review based on my visit on Saturday only so I can’t speak for the whole con. Also this time around I went as a con goer, rather than sitting in the “artist alley” (or what they actually dedicated to it this year). I also wish I had an actual video camera rather than taking bootleg videos with my normal camera and eating up almost all of my diskspace. (Ah next time I’ll try using the email mode XD.) Anyway in one word all I can say is: For $30 I get THIS? Where’s the rest? The con felt kinda like getting a hot dog with the actual hot dog missing and all you had to eat was some bun and ketchup. Believe it or not this series is only going to run 12 episodes. So it’s like 12 episodes of nothing, I wonder how they’re even gonna end it. Next week doesn’t even look like the episode regarding Yako’s father, but at the setup that they’re at I can’t imagine how they’re going to even show that scenario - if they show it at all. This week was kinda anti-climatic. It was all serious and crap about how the singer killed her managers because she “sings better when she’s lonely” O_o; And Neuro ended up not eating anybody with his big birdbrain so yea that was kinda disappointing. I’m guessing next week is monster of the week again or it might be a 2 episode plot to conclude the series.

Darn, I was hoping Sai’s abs would be more emphasized like they were in the manga. So the whole episode pretty much dealt with the simulation between Yamato’s team and what would be Kabuto (woops spoiler!) Surprisingly this lasted only 1 episode thank god and not 2. I thought they’d just drag on with this stupid training for 2 eps or something. Although I have a feeling the oro/naruto/kabuto battle is gonna take like 10 episodes. I think I’d rather them just skip a week of Naruto, then stretch out 2 pages of manga into like 4 episodes. It becomes such a drag to watch - as opposed to waiting a week or 2 then seeing it all in its right speed. (Sometimes I wonder if running Naruto on fast forward will make it more interesting. Those Team Gai scenes in the Gaara arc were the worst!!)

Didn’t I tell you Kotomi was going to be annoying? Everything she says and does is annoying. Her only redeeming quality is she has big boobs for the boys, and her tsukkomi is so stupid it actually amuses me.
