Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - 13

It started out as the usual “you are the culprit” crap but things got interesting when Sai appeared out of a Doberman and then had an exciting fight with Neuro up on top of a construction pole thing. I’m up to chapter 22 of the manga so I’m not sure how much of this is actually happening and how much is just anime originality. Neuro also mentioned that by hanging around humans, he becomes more human. Wait wut? IS this really true? Hasn’t been mentioned in the manga as far as I read. Also Sasazuka gets injured and gives Yako his notes saying “Sai may have killed your father.” I can acclaim for that as probably an anime original plot since they shuffled around the chapters in a really weird order. O well if you put the manga/anime/actual storyline comparisons aside, it was a pretty cool action packed episode.

Upcoming Attractions: Why is it that only the Sai related episodes are interesting? We’re back to criminal of the week it seems. :mad:

    Have no fear! The next criminal of the week (if it is the hotsprings) is somewhat needed to advance the plot (if the follow what happened in the manga). And if all goes well, it’ll be that super long arc I really hope gets animated! *_*

    As for the Neuro becoming more human, it was mentioned in the manga somwhere in the chapter after the first X arc.

    And X and Neuro really did fight in the manga! :)

    Oh cool, I’ve just started to read volume 4 as we speak. Hopefully I’ll get to that chapter soon :D

    One last thing:

    The next ep is in volume 4.

    And ep 12-13 was in volume 7-8 (I think…or was it 6-7?).

    The super long arc is in volumes 8-10 (and a bit of 11).

    arg I’m still missing volume 11 =_=; I managed to salvage some later chapters but I’ve got holes here and there and missing all of ch. 89-100
