Shugo Chara - 12

Argh what is the anime doing to MY Shugo Chara???? The screenshot of Ikuto here is about the only accurate thing in the whole episode. As usual they switched the seasons but that’s the least of my concerns. The whole hawt scene of Amu and Ikuto going “let’s see if my key will fit into your lock” rawr is gone!! Also what happened to Amu singing to Ikuto’s violin? Why is anime Ikuto such a dickhead? He’s so much nicer to Amu in the manga =_=;

What was actually supposed to happen:

Ikuto was supposed to play his violin while Amu sang along after they found out that the “lock” has a “block” on not letting any keys come in. (LOL sorry Ikutokun Amutan needs another 3-4 years xDD) Then they heard screaming and found a bunch of the batsutamas…in the anime they had it showing that it was all Ikuto’s doing. In actuality it was that sensei’s doing, who (as they failed to show) also stole Amu’s eggs prior to that.

Argh what are they doing to the story?? They’re making Ikuto look bad and the sensei just look like some background character :| Also ew Utau lol everytime I see her trying to hit on Ikuto something inside of me throws up. :mad:

    I stopped watching Shugo Chara after I read the manga cause of course manga is always better. Based on your review of this episode, I made the right choice to quit the anime.

    sooner or later I think I’m gonna stop following the Shugo Chara anime, especially with the new shows coming up this Winter.

    Ah great. If you don’t like the fillers, just stop watching the anime. I, for one, will continue watching this (I REALLY need to finish Kamichama Karin) despite the anime originals. Besides, I don’t have much of the manga anyway (I did finish reading volume 1 though). Sorry if I’m being stupid.

    Aargh, if I read a manga then watch the anime, I usually react that way. I consider the two seperate in my mind, like whichever I go to second is just a fanfic of sorts, but often I find that the manga is better. I haven’t read the manga of Shugo Chara (is it released in English? If it is then I shall…) but Ultra Maniac was messed up for me because of not-as-good anime. Maybe it’s improve…

    I think I am the only person who doesn’t care for Ikuto or AmuIku….XD I can’t find anything past chapter 12 in English so I have to ask: Does Tadase still only have a crush on Amulet Heart? I mean, he’s always blushing at regular Amu too.

    BTW, thank you for putting up summaries about the manga volumes. I just started reading Shugo Chara this week and I can’t find much stuff about it on the Internet.

    Not really, they hav been quite faithful to the manga for the last few epis. and the next ep is shown in the manga too. Just that the positions as to which come first is different.

    I know! I was excited to finally see something (from the short amount of manga I had managed to find) that I liked, and they just stopped it all. She didn’t even sing the school song >.> I wanted to hear it XD
    Haven’t really gotten far in the manga though, does anyone know I good site where I can cheaply read it, translated? I think there is a lot more out than on the site I go to.

    The reason why IKuto-san is a “dick head” is because the author/illistrator wanted Tadase-chan to be with Amu-chan….. :neutral: but in the manga version, the author/illistrator wanted Amu-chan to be with Ikuto-san. I think its a lot of fun to do this with your heroine and the two lucky guys to complete her, and mix up there whole love triangle.to tell u the truth…the author/illistrator wanted both the anime and manga to be different because it ist fun to make an anime with the same exact story line and relationships with the charecters! :smile: …and…..to….make…..more….money…to..sooo…urr…. :cry: lets hope both da anime and manga turn out how the author/illistrator wanted it to be. cuz ots always more interesting! :mrgreen:

    I :031: IKUTO es muy genial la serie kreo ke es la mejor ke ha existido pero todavia no la termino de ver por no la han terminado de subir entra voy en capitulo 45 pero espero ke pase algo entre amu and ikuto ? pero tadase kedaria decepcionado i solito a menos ke se kede kon la rima i una gran duda la nadejko es un hombre pk todavia no lo puedo kree
