Before we had nice boats, there were rumbling hearts.
So basically I sat down and watched that Haruka route special OVA thing of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. I should be happy but the entire episode made me sick 
I saw KimiNozo when it first aired which was like 4 years ago so when watching this I had no recollection of anything or anyone - all I remembered was “Mitsuki is a WHORE!” So really based on “Mitsuki is a whore he shoulda ended up with Haruka” is how I watched this show. Unfortunately that was a complete downfall for me, and the show, because it became an overly melodramatic piece of crap anime where I started to see Haruka as Kotonoha, being all shy and crap, except the difference is Takayuki is Beta Makoto so he doesn’t quite have the asshole guy routine down. He actually reminded me of Makoto in the Good End for Kotonoha - rather than the Makoto we saw who got what he deserved!
I mean honestly, I was happy Mitsuki didn’t get crap…but on the other hand, I feel like the story is based on “Mitsuki didn’t get crap so now Haruka has to be upset about it.” Bitch take what you get, and get it while it’s hot! I’m not sure if I’ll be watching anymore as it seems sorta lacking any kind of sense like some other crap out there and doesn’t seem like it’ll have a wholesom plot worth watching.
Besides, think for me to have interest again, I’d have to rewatch KimiNozo to remind myself why I hate Mitsuki and like Haruka and why I care about this whole thing in the first place.

4 years ago I heard about this show and it got immediately stamped with “CRAP” on it. To this day there are no regrets. Because I couldn’t remember the longwinded name, it was referred to as Kiminocrap.
As an aside, 2007 shall be declared as the Year of the Traps. So many traps in so many shows. Even H2O is going to “rock your traps”. FYI and the uninformed, the trap in water is the lead character in some unnamed happy show that was famous for its royal trappiness. :3 Ironic role reversal.
Not that I’m going to watch it anyway, but it’s an interesting useless trivia fact.
I’ll check out H2O, it seems retardedly amusing (It will ROCK YOUR SOUL etc

LOL I think JP liked Mitsuki too. I dunno I think maybe if I had watched the show in the present, my feelings might have been different than what they were 4 years ago as my anime tastes have drastically changed and I’m prone to dropping shows more often now.

I’ve just started Kiminozo after getting a DVD bargain online. Seems intriguing so far after four episodes (I’m blogging about my experiences). I guess the OVA comes at a lucky time for me, but I understand how 3 years is kinda a long time.
And it’s not like Kiminozo is Final Fantasy VII. o.o It’s been ten years, and people still love that game.
kimi nozo for me is a seriously freaking seriouse anime that i would only need to watch it once to rmeber it for life LOL… how could u forgott!!! Mitsuki…y u hate her?? reason —>(ps:mitsuki fans shoo nw)
1.) she dragg off takayuki to buy her a birthday present making haruka get knock by the car while waiting for taka whos alrdy late in the first place.
2.) at the end of the show.. taka choose her instead of haruka (which made me kick the tv and it went down the floor and i got hell from my parents)
3.) if she did’t drag taka off to buy her tat fucking ring , haruka would’t had to wait at the station and so she would’t had gotten knock over by the car
Haha Mitsuki is such a whore. I was so pissed for days after I watched that. Haruka was in a coma for years and lost so much because of the greedy ho and then doesn’t get the guy at the end!? The injustice. I just hate Mitsuki. I don’t want the ho to get nothing, I want her to suffer first. I don’t think it’s satisfying for her to just go away.

I hate KimiNozo… I hate it for how all the tragedies happened because of all the (mis)decisions of the characters, particularly Bakayuki and Mitsuki. As each episode went by, I hated the characters more and more… though in the end, I liked Haruka (despite how I used to hate her more than Mitsuki, in the first few episodes…).
I watched this 4 years ago too, and even though I now got to understand the complexities of the emotions of the characters involved, and why they weren’t able to do things they should have, I’ll still think of it as… crap. It made me feel depressed even when I’m not in the said state… =__=
The only reason I actually watched most of KGNE was that in the first two eps I was just going “I HATE HER I HATE HER I HATE HER I HATE HER … SHE GOT HIT BY A CAR!!!!!! YAY!”

Ha ha, I hated Mitsuki too. Except I wanted her to end up with Takayuki because by the end Haruka was waaaay too good for him. (Because you know, she actually grew as a person because of all the crap she went through, unlike the other characters.) I’m still sort of interested in this OAV though, just to see the other way the story could’ve gone.
I didn’t hate Mitsuki at all and actually thought that she had done far more for Takayuki than Haruka and thus deserved him in a way, but essentially I reached a similar conclusion to Senna’s and “wanted her to end up with Takayuki because by the end Haruka was waaaay too good for him”.
Haruka didn’t do much for Takayuki, other than inspiring nostalgia and all, but I still thought she was a better person, overall, and thus deserved her own freedom away from such an indecisive tool, so to speak.
Since Takayuki doesn’t seem quite as crappy and in need of attention in this version of the story, at least for now, Haruka may indeed be a better match for him this time around, once the drama settles down at the last minute.
haha I guess in a sense Bakayuki doesn’t deserve Haruka at the end so I can see where you’re going with this. I really hated both him and Mitsuki by the end of the series though so I guess that’s why I wanted a “redone” ending with him liking Haruka instead. But now Haruka’s got something up her butt XD
I hated Haruka because she had no personality. She was like a walking talking blow-up doll; actually this is an otaku ideal, so more like a walking talking body pillow. She grew some balls after she came out of that coma though and I didn’t dislike her as much.

But that’s what Haruka’s role supposed to be
She the “victimized character” role
She’s SUPPOSED to be be shy and boring. That’s the inherent trait of that archetype. Which is why later iterations of these characters evolve yandere to SPICE THINGS UP
But Haruka comes from a gentler era, so I doubt that. Unless they plan to include Akane’s route into this story.
but mitsuki was the one who saved takayuki’s life and her whore-mode was only because takayuki abandoned her for haruka….
I am amused by such a passion people show for a series I considered to be ‘mildly amusing.’ For all the talk of drama and betrayal, my reply would be ’seen worse in many Classic Literatures.’ If you press me further, I would further reply, ‘If you think this is bad, I hear there are some similar stories in Greek and Latin.’
Hmm, I just rewatched the first two episodes of Kiminozo before I watched the OVA so that probably helped me. The main thing that bothered me was certainly all the beta though. It just went on for like 25 minutes! And isn’t Haruka being stupid because she thinks Takayuki is focusing too much on her and not himself, rather than feeling bad about Mitsuki?
(I don’t like Mitsuki, but don’t hate her either. And she has the Sekai archetype while Haruka is similar to Kotonoha, but I like Haruka and Sekai. And hate Kotonoha.)
I just hope the second episode isn’t so betabeta.
