Just assumption:

Since someone mentioned it earlier, that Sai killed Susazuka’s family.
Maybe Sai took the form of his brother etc.
which might explain why they look so similiar.

I’m hoping after you finish reading the manga you will have a better gauge on how long it’s going to be. I would hate for the anime to end with either an open-ending or one made up that doesn’t follow the manga. (Never read the manga; and have to many to follow to be interested.)

Off topic, I just started watching Sumomomo Momomo and it’s pretty good! Thanks for the tip Hinano. Now that I’ve recovered from Naruto manga shock (that I saw coming but it still hurt) I’m enjoying reading/watching less dramatic things… for now.

Sai sorta killed Sasazuka’s family I think. I’m not TOO sure though.
