Da Capo II - 12

Published by Hinano at 8:42 pm under Da Capo II

Lol the way this episode was executed was so ridiculous I can just stand back and laugh. If next week wasn’t the last episode now would be a good time to drop this anime. I mean first of all, kid almost gets hit by car, girl (who I’m sure the driver doesn’t know is a robot) also gets hit by car..and everybody is ok with this? Instead of throwing a lawsuit on the guy who almost killed 2 people they expel Minatsu from school. LOL WTF? XD Next, Yoshidumbass runs on his plot with Minatsu and her expelling, then COINCIDENTALLY runs into Koko who’s like “Let’s break up HEHE!” Then the episode ends. Can this get anymore ridiculous? What the hell was the point of this show? It took her 12 episodes to realize “gee this really isn’t working out” ? No wonder lonely wives in Japan do all those things.

Seems Da Capo II is indeed getting a new season, so yeah… next week isn’t the last episode for the series.

After this, I’m just hoping FEEL’s not doing the second season. From what I’ve read the Otome/Yume/sakura tree story could be really good, it’d be 1000x better than the Koko and Minatsu Show anyway…

suguru> I doubt another studio would do the 2nd season :S I really liked whoever the hell did season 1 of Dacapo 1, I dunno if it was FEEL or who it was but the show was damn good.

I don’t watch Da Capo but I found the article you linked to at the end to be wildly hilarious.

That is why I called the entire franchise Da Crappo. The is a limit to how you can animate loveydovey. Look at the number of H-games turned crapime. For every ten animated, 9 are crap. Yes, I like Naru Nanase’s artwork in Da Capo (the game) but that is about it. Personally, I think sometimes the H is warranted as it’s an “objective” or “endpoint” to work to. That is what drives the games.

So far in the Hall of H-game turned anime Fame lies:
    Shuffle!
    Yamibou
    Touka Gettan
    Fate/Stay Night
    Utawarerumono

The list lies somewhat in that order. Tsukihime’s adaptation was horrible. Soul Link was horrible… Ayu ruined Kanon with her ughus. High school drama alone does not drive a good show. If that were the case, I’d rather die watch Beverly Hills 90210. There must be something extra to drive the show other than interpersonal relationship development.

Other H-games turn anime that won’t make the list but amusing to watch:
Happiness! - Jun is the only reason - the OVA is by far the best episode.
Prism Ark - Aroduc summarizes it enough not to repeat.
Demonbane - Only if you like HP Lovecraft mythos and the arcane.

I don’t watch much because I’d rather spend time doing other things. Before that, download quotas limited what I could watch so I needed to be picky otherwise it’d be complete waste. And so, I’ve developed a very cynical approach to what to watch.

(The Ultimate exception applies - Must watch Di Gi Charat at all costs)

honestly… how much shitty can this show get… they should just stop this anime and sentence the director to permernent prison… this is just spoiling the Da Capo series’s name!!!!! compare to the first Da Capo… this looks like a joker if u put it beside each other and compare them… geeze!!! i’m really pissed off… wad kind of ppl make anime wif this kind of story development screwed up… and juz throwing in every junk they can think of >=( (nice name kazune!! Da Crappo suits it really well)

While I disagree with Digi on Kanon (lol), I do like “romantic” anime but it has to be like done WELL. It has to “move me” and the only movement da crapo made me do is surf the web while it plays in the background cause I couldn’t sit through it

Jeez, I couldn’t even make it through the original Da Capo… how do you manage to write about the sequel? Hah…
