Serious ass kicking from the gar mans of Higurashi this week. At this point the series is kinda coming to our “expected” closing. I sorta know what’s gonna happen, and basically at this point I’m just watching the events unfold - which is why my posts for this show have been sorta blah lately (as well as the response from you guys because you’re probably feeling the same way.) I wish they would have shown more of Tomitake beating all those Yamainu up, but the manly gar image at the end was good enough for now I guess. Can’t wait till they bring out the Rena and Keiichi cavalry.

MAO YOU ARE SUCH A DUMB WHORE DIE IN A FIRE. Anime pairings are serious business - I was incredibly enraged with the ending to the original Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (and I’m impatiently awating the Haruka Route anime.) Ugh wtf “I wanna be friends with you so I can get to know you” bullshit. She totally wants him and her hard to get crap is pissing me off…then what’s the deal suddenly with her looking all upset about Koiichi and Yumi? Wait why is YUMI like backing up here? Why aren’t you like “Hi Mao, I see you’re scoring, hi five girlfriend!” Wth is this 180 character flip? Ugh. I am seriously angry with this show. Everyone is so annoying they’re making Futami look good.

Upcoming Attractions: I seriously hope I saw Yumi and Koiichi making out in their swimsuits in the Nurse’s office.

That was an interesting filler, actually even though Utau part felt shoved in there for the sake of shoving it in. I guess I have to really settle on the fact that this is gonna be egg of the week for a while and it really will be 52 eps (wryyy T_T). Also that filler girl was incredibly annoying, I mean I just wanted to slap her and be like “bitch stfu.” Also the fact that Tadase is so girly looking, when they portray him as some “bishounen” I just think like “You know, Kazune from Kamichama Karin has way more on it than you do, you wanna be.” (Don’t they look almost identical?) So I went to Kinokuniya in the hopes they’d have vol. 5 available and they finally did. Ah well better late than never. I was actually looking forward to more IkutoAmu stuff that Jen had mentioned in her post, but was disappointed that aside from the one she mentioned, there really wasn’t much else.

This volume didn’t have as many striking revelations as the previous one, but it did go into a few “new” things somewhat relevant to the story and revealed that Amu is a big playgirl as quoted by Utau’s shugo chara. We definitely had some characte development in this volume, so my guess is we’ll see more action in volume 6. (I demand more Ikuto Amu smut!!) Anyway the volume begins with a chapter dedicated to Yaya and how she got her Shugo Chara. Continue Reading »

So I was putting this off for a while and finally watched it today. Remember my shit hitting the fan post? Looks like the OVA will go well into that, and this episode appeared to be a good segue into this. I actually caught up on the manga up to and including volume 20 which involves a lot of Fai stuff as well. Actually after the Fai stuff I really find Fai to be a disgusting character ^^;. Also this arc is like fangirl fodder for fans of Clover and X but I was never into that so my only interest are the 2 Shaorans running wild and vampire Fai (until further notice anyway.) Can’t wait for the next episode, anyone know when it’ll be out?

Happy Turkey Day - and what turkey day is complete without a well animated episode of Naruto? Yes you heard right, this week the animation was incredibly good - but that was obviously due to the lack of any action going on what so ever. The episode mostly focuses on Yamato doing the team introduction for Sai, Sakura and Naruto. Sai doesn’t make the best impression by calling Sakura ugly and making another penis joke with Naruto.
