Ok so I guess this week they didn’t break up but it was like a setup for it…looks like it’ll happen next week. This time around Hiroko gets sick and rather than her boyfriend helping her, she’s taken to the hospital by Tanaka. Hiroko took on like 8 projects for JIDAI all while having a cold so naturally she collapsed. In the meantime, Shinji at first seems like his dream came true of building a bridge so I think he quit his current job. However it turns out his bridge job gets taken by other contractors or something which leaves him unemployed. He takes his frustrations out on Hiroko telling her that there’s no reason for her to work this hard and that he hates his current job and he only acts like he likes it. By the end of the episode some folks come by telling him they will be living in the apartment he is building. This makes him happier and gives him a brighter outlook (that is until next week.)
