This episode really made me think about the whole paparazzi thing. I mean I know they’re doing their job, but the way the scene was handled reminded me of that Britney Spears incident with yelling, cursing, umbrellas and shaved heads. While this one had yelling and umbrellas it just seemed so WEIRD that everyone kinda stood around and did nothing. Like hey we got the photos of the two of you and now we’re going to ruin your lives, but that’s our job. Ok nice meeting you *bows politely, gives business card* bye now! I mean naturally my first reaction was, why is the guy just standing holding his umbrella, rather than going for the camera? I realize at first it looked like he was gonna put up a fight, but I guess his agent or whoever held him back (rather terribly) and that somehow calmed him down. Um wtf? You’d rather be all polite and Japanese tatemae bullshit when possibly your whole career is at stake? Yea that was annoying. For once, while they were all celebrating and cheering for getting their “scoop” all I could see in my eyes “you must be proud you fucking sleezy assholes.” Bah.

Also apparently eating Nattou Maki rolls makes you manlier - which is why Hiroko munches on them on a daily basis.

Since people have voted on my poll that yes I should do a rant, well I guess I am doing one. I’ll try to keep this civil as possible (although it’s hard when I currently want my landlord to get run over by a speeding bus.) I don’t know much about other fandoms, (furries, star trek, disney etc) but why is it that only in anime fandom I run into so much fucking art theft?

Aside from the Myspace retards and IMVU morons who paste this crap in their profiles and crash your browsers, the bulk of them seems to be on Deviantart. Even though Deviantart has some pretty strict rules about posting copyright images that you DID NOT CREATE, they seem like they gang on people adding anime songs to their flash movies more than someone who uploads someone else’s art and claims it as their own.
