This anime and all that encompasses it has been flushed down the toilet.
And NicoNico clearly agrees with me. I mean if Yuuji’s gonna build a harem, I wanna see nice boating - but the fact is there isn’t gonna be any therefore this anime ultimately fails.
Seriously if it wasn’t for NicoNico I don’t think I would have made it through this episode.

I think the upcoming episodes (don’t how many they will be showing) are those types that there are laying the fighting sequences aside to concentrate more on each character which it is mostly is about school life as students, I believe.
Until danger shows up, then the action and fight scenes will return as always.
I have only been able to bring myself to read summaries of the last couple of episodes, I couldn’t physically handle watching the episode. Those that suffer through it and summarize like Arudoc should get some sort of medal.

haiz… y does good anime always go low after the first season…. most of anime the first season was god like but the 2nd season was nth but holy craps…. if they run out of ideas… i rather wait longer till they have a decent plot befor continewing the anime instead of juz thrashing everything they can think of and juz label it as the 2nd season…
actually to be honest this is was i expected from the second season. from the depths of my memory the first season was pretty fucking similar.

Seriously, do you believe that Yuuji should be stabbed multiple times and beheaded for simply being nice to a new girl, when he and Shana aren’t even in a relationship?
Anyway, I do agree that the last two episodes were completely wasted. This show had better bring out the action and the intensity of the first season, otherwise I feel I might drop it at least until the story picks up again.
I still think Enpatsu no Shakugan no Uchite and Kazumi should castrate the two-timer! Especially after how she saved his ass! We should have more loliyuri instead.
Chigusa x Banjou no Shite would be nice… I bet they were doing more than cooking in the kitchen! I still cannot believe she is a Kohaku! A meido that cannot cook!

I don’t think Yuuji has done anything wrong to deserve such hatred. Shana told him several times that she was not upset. What is he, a mind reader?
Also, I really don’t understand why guys would want to see other guys get physically assaulted by women. What happened to male solidarity?
Anyways, I did not think this show is the type to inspire such a discussion, since it is predominantly an action/fantasy show with a little bit of romance/comedy on the side.
I chose to save my sanity and drop this after episode three…at least I think it was episode three, the series is so exciting that I don’t even recall how much I watched.
No that’s the accurate description of season 1. Season 2 is like the opposite of that
There are many reasons to love J.C.Staff, but it seems that for each awesome series that they make, they drive another series off a cliff. I actually thought Shana II was doing well until Episode 4 and then boom.
On the bright side, it also means that for every series they drive off a cliff, they make another awesome series. Last season there was Potemayo to make up for Familiar of Zero 2.0. And this season there is Kimikiss. Sure, there’s no excuse to make any series suck, but if the cost of J.C.Staff epic wins is a few failures here and there, that’s acceptable to me.

No, Mr. Maigo should be castrated because it’s not only enpatsu shakugan no uchite that he has abandoned but Kazumi as well! Yes, abandoning one for the other is fine but he has twotimed both of them for Itadaki no Kura who soulraped him literally…
Then again, maybe that’s her master plan for seducing him! How devious!

Anyway, the serious bit is here. Shakugan no Shana second looks like it’s doing more character building at the moment. Frankly, fight scenes shouldn’t be the only staple in the show. A show is made up of many elements, each of which serves to support it. The cooking humour is ironic given it’s a maid that can’t cook.
Then again… Kohaku can’t cook either.
The TV series are a bastardized but wellworked version of the novels. The movie is actually closer to the novels. So you can’t really tell what is different from the novels unless you read it which I haven’t so I’m appreciating the anime version only up to a point.
I watch shows mainly for plot and character development. An exception is if it’s saccharine cute Koge. Dejiko is always #1
So far, I’m watching 4 shows excluding hayate no gotoku which is getting pointless to the point of “why do I even bother downloading it”.

I read blogs partly because I can sample stuff that I don’t watch and see whether it’s worth to pick up myself. Like how I was seduced by Touka into watching Touka Gettan. Traps are excellent value for money. :3 (I blame Aroduc for the touka gettan problem too :P)

Skygirls is Konami, its shows because they were busy in rip-off mech anime without making anything that stands on its own.
KimiKiss is even more boring that Shana II (sorry Hinano but I do not take kindly the shoujo in my shounen harem anime).
Currently Shana II is s-l-o-w, it happened in the first season too at certain points but even the boring moments were offset with the current Guze doing his things … so far in SnS II beyond a few moments of showing Bel Masque and the random Guze showing up this is just a school romance with fantasy and harem elements, perhaps it will peek up but its not the roller coaster ride that was the first season.
The other name for skygirls is skylolis… Much as I like my loliservice, there must be something to counterbalance it. I have varied tastes so long as the series has something decent to offer.
