Dress Up for a 10% Discount!

So in order to celebrate their new home, Kinokuniya is having a cosplay day on November 3rd. Sadly that day I will be in NJ…and as much as I want 10% off, in the last 2 weeks I bought all the manga I needed already XD;; Oh well!

On Saturday, November 3, any patron dressed in costume who visits the Kinokuniya Bookstore at 1073 Avenue of the Americas (between 40th and 41st Streets) from 10 AM to 8 PM will receive a 10% discount off all anime and manga purchases and be entered into a raffle to win one of 10 complimentary weekend passes to the New York Anime Festival. In addition, the first 500 cosplayers will all take home a gift bag courtesy of VIZ Media.

Really I’d like to go just to take some photos at this point, but instead I’ll be in NJ celebrating my cat’s 13th birthday. :lol: So instead of photos of man faye look a likes, I’ll have some submissions for Icanhascheeseburger. If anyone goes do tell!

    omg! my friend and i have been planning to go since a long time! i cant wait!

    we were planning to dress up as senna and rukia from bleach, but ughh the costumes too expensive. so now, we’re gnna go as girls in yukatas xD

    anne> Be careful, the weather in NY has been dropping recently, I’m all in a scarf and coat today :P Costumes are expensive - which is why since I can’t sew, I cosplay stuff I can buy in astore and bootleg together XD

    Maybe if you wear all black and add a cat tail then you can say you’re Ikuto from Shugo Chara :D

    ….. *pokes belly and it jiggles* *is a teenager* *takes off Naruto headband and jacket* so… I definitely won’t be that fat teenager in a Naruto outfit! XD
