Da Capo II - 05
I wish
that big dog in the episode would come here and bite all the annoying children outside my apartment in the ass. But anyway, I kept a mental count of every ridiculously generic shoujo/moe item this week because there was one every like 5 seconds. First we got the usual parody of Fuyu no Sonata - Fuyu no ANATA harr. Next we got the usual hand holding blushing crap going on, then we got the not so usual guy crying at the sappy movie (rather than falling asleep.) Then we got the usual group of friends spying on the couple, getting caught, apologizing and leaving. Also they even threw in a Clannad parody “If you have lots of kids you can be like a big daikazoku on TV” HARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. The best was of course the end where Koko grabbed him with the grip of death like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.
Also, Yume was annoying as usual this week. She reminded me of XP Home Edition.

With every episode my hopes keep going down…why they picked one of the least interesting members of the cast to focus on I’ll never understand.
I’m still wondering is this really gonna end at 13? or 12 or whatever
I can’t count the number of times where I looked at how much longer I had to sit through this episode while I was watching it. Nanaka was cute with her hair down, though–and that was probably the highlight of the episode (coming from a girl, if that gives you any idea of how bored I was). Koko hasn’t done anything wrong, per se, but she’s also coming across as dull and generic. Plus, I’ve been waiting for the break-up since the first episode, and it’s taking too long.
meow….. koko’s not that bad… infect i’m hopping to see them together till the end… might be a good change for something new!! infect i dun think theres been any anime that first couple last till the end of the show is there?? i check around the game for DC II and suppose that the sakura tree was granting every wish even the bad ones so suppose when they stop the sakura tree all the wish will be gone and yishiyuki was suppose to be part of a wish soo yea u can guess wad happen in the game… not sure if the anime gona end the same way.. who knows??
Hah. Koko is great. Blushing is great. Hand-holding is great. Romance without tension is great. Too bad that Koko is going to lose out in the end. She doesn’t deserve it. This show is quite enjoyable, but the animation and just about everything about it is third-rate, except some of the characters. DCII and Myself;Yourself are in competition for least successful romantic anime of the season. Ef, KimiKiss and Clannad are all excellent, in my opinion.
I’m not much for EF, but I gave up on myself yourself, and the only reason I’m watching DC II is because I’m a fan of DC I haha..but I agree nothing particularly interesting has happened yet….but I’m holding out till the end hoping for a big surprise
I’m already resigned to a Koko x Yoshiyuki ending, especially if this is just a 13 episode series.
But based on their relationship’s progress, I can definitely see that Yoshiyuki is in NO way a “son” of Junichi. Well…technically he really isn’t but what I just want to point out is that Junichi was way better than Yoshi.
Especially in the first DC, Junichi had confidence and was in several scenes “smooth”.
If we can’t have a Nanaka ending, then at least make the Yoshi X Koko pair a bit more interesting. Speed it up a bit please, or add some drama, or at least give Yoshi some spine. =\
What happened to my siscon animu ;_;
Feel, why have you betrayed your roots, whyyyyy!
