Genshiken II - 03

Man what a great episode. Nothing like seeing the artists point of view of Comiket. My favorite quote has gotta be Sasahara’s “When they flip through and don’t buy it, it’s kinda irritating.” DAMN STRAIGHT SASAHARA. WELCOME TO MY MANGA NEXT! Sometimes I say to myself that I kinda wanna go to Comiket but then seeing all those people stand in the stinky heat I’d probably lose my mind. I also read on the comiket cosplay page and it’s all organized and shit. You can’t just stroll in looking like a crossdressing Rock Lee. You gotta reserve a spot, pay money for a changing room and walk in and walk out of the place in regular clothes. Pretty different from US cons. JP also informed me that they have man and woman circle days. So I guess on day 1 you can buy lesbian porn but on day 2 you can buy gay porn! Do they have non-porn het day? I’d sign up for that! Oh well the chances of me going to Comiket, let alone selling there are slim to none so I just have to enjoy what I can from this anime.

Also, LOL. Where’s the crotch bulge? :lol:

    LOL maybe one day when I can read kanji on a comiket form or when I can afford a trip to Japan =P (or when I make a doujinshi in japanese lolo)

    Technically they orginized it by what series the circle primarily sold at C72.

    It pretty much effectively worked to seperate male and female circles.

    Female attendees, female circles, and yaoi was the watchword Saturday. It was the day for doujinshi based on shounen comics, and for some reason that attracts yaoi loving women. There was also a decent amount of shoujo comic stuff and a smattering of seinen.

    Sunday was primarily Type-moon, Nanoha, and galge day. This meant lots of dudes and lots of yuri.

    However, I did get some Marimite doujinshi and some Megu/Gin yuri on Saturday and I saw plenty of yaoi on Sunday. Fate/stay night does have a large enough contigent of male characters for them yaoi fangirls.

    Friday I didn’t get around much, but it seemed to be primarily doujin soft stuff.

    All days serve both porn and non-porn doujinshi.

    Obviously I am bored… really…

    If I went to japan… Gamers would rape my checkbook and ass.

    Remember that Koge still draws doujinshi for Komiket except she’s more busy these days.

    And Itou Noizi

    And the Da Cowpo artist who I forget.

    And Kaishaku

    And etc2.

    Let’s not even go into what sections they draw for >_>

    And… I was shocked that the VA that voiced Jun/Sumomo… actually voiced Jun/Sumomo… in the games… under different names. And my bubble has been shattered that Kaori Mizuhashi also voices… H-games… In short, some of the VAs I like happens to do… H-games…

    And why am I waffling off tangets…

    Yea it seems a lot of people have the “oh blah I read the manga ” attitude but I still love it
