Naruto -Shippuuden- 251

So this week we have a new opening/ending introducing the next arc which features our favorite penis joke maker - Sai! I find it kinda stupid though to be honest that they are showing the new OP/ED this week when judging from the preview, next week doesn’t even begin the new arc. Yes we do have a new episode next week so no breaks as far as I know. Also whenever the hell the new arc actually starts you’ll get to see grown up Shino, Hinata and Kiba…and Hinata will see Naruto and pass out like the Hinata that she is. :lol: Anyway poor granny dies.

So after Naruto helps pump Gaara back to life, and Granny dies, and Gaara’s fangirls calm down everyone does a moment of silence. Actually as JP mentioned, TenTen got some lines and probably the only lines she’ll ever get again :lol: Well enough with this draggy episode, let’s talk about the OP and ED. OP is similar to the first one but it features Sai and Yamato and kicks off Gaara, Sasori and Deidara. The ending basically focuses on Sai and includes his famous little “lines” that he tells to Sakura, Yamato and Naruto. To Naruto it says “Do you even have a dick?” To Sakura it’s “I like ugly bitches like you” and finally to both Naruto & Sakura he said “Don’t compare me to a traitor like Sasuke.”

Anyway the Sai arc is gonna be great. Frankly I wonder how they’re gonna allow Sai’s lines to be said. Are they gonna bleep them? Allow them or just rephrase them? :lol: Guess we’ll have to wait and see (whenever the hell they decide to start the next arc.)

    yaaaaaaaay. i’m excited. but i need to stop since the anime moves at the speed of crippled snails.

    anyhow, you probably have made this obvious somewhere else but i a) missed it or b) didn’t pay attention (aka missed it). is Sai your favorite Naruto character?

    Since Sai’s finally here, it’s only a matter of time before we see Konohamaru’s otoko no ko doushi no jutsu, hahaha ;-)

    I’ve imagined what it will be like when the English dub finally gets to this point in the story line, and it seems to me that Sai’s lines will most likely end up containing a lot of ’substitute’ sounds. You know, like a ‘cuckoo’ sound, or a train whistle, or even the classic ‘bleep’ (or maybe that vinyl record scratch sound they used in ‘Samurai Champloo’). Sometimes the joke is actually funnier when you make the audience ‘fill in the blank’ especially when it’s obvious what ‘blank’ is supposed to be… “Hey Naruto, do you even have a [vinyl scratch]?” (In the right context that would be uproariously funny - much better than if they ‘toned it down’)

    Hinata does not faint! She runs off and hides, panting and bracing, like in the midst of a panic attack. Thank you very much.

    Just like you do when you see your man. :P

    I’m just glad you did a Naruto post. It’s also the only one, and the other DB subbed show Genshiken (sp?) that is usually subbed the day you post.
    So I don’t have to comment blindly.

    Sai was a good character. I wished him dead from the first moment and then he took me on a roller-coaster of emotions during his 2-facedness. But now that the Manga still points out that Tsunade has to watch his “group” (Hope you know what I’m talking about, trying not to spoil too much) I’m not sure about him. It’s been a long time since he’s been active; the roller-coaster may not be over.

    But I am ready for a new slow paced arc to complain about so bring it on already! :)

    You’re right, she did faint. I think in my own little mental sitcom of NaruHina I edited that part out. You and your damned knowledge. :P

    Sai is great. Good episode too. When the hell did Naruto get such epicly good music? I hadn’t checked out the anime in a while.
