Honestly I think playing this game THEN watching the anime is so much more satisfying then watching it on a blind eye. It makes it so much more enjoyable to go back and reminisce of all the scenes and jokes and even go “hey wow this happened? I couldn’t tell from the game perspective, cool.” I hope that the anime makes me cry in the same way the game did, but since I kinda know what happens I’m not sure. Then again, Kanon made me cry despite knowing what happens to Makoto.
Since I have a few Clannad virgins reading this blog I figured I’ll just put any spoiler text in white…and you may highlight if you wish to be spoiled. Just for your information, the lady from the first screenshot is important to the story because she is actually Fuuko’s sister. Also the other guy you met today, Yoshino Yusuke who (as Sunohara mentioned) a “famous musician” is part of that whole story as well. He has a separate ending in the game but it’s still related somewhat to Fuuko.
I’m pretty amazed at how well KyoAni is moving the pace of this show. They’re pretty much flowing from story to story trying to incorporate every character. The coffee girl is Yukino by the way. She has a small ending as well but her kissing Tomoya in the game felt so fake to me lol. Also as a note her seiyuu also voices YUKINO from Kare Kano. I found that to be a nifty coincidence. Oh also the Sunohara slept for 100 years and Tomoya’s a cyborg joke was the best 
Finally BOTAN! Er I mean Button. XD Isn’t he the cutest little warthog you’ve ever seen? Buhi~! It’s really funny how violent Kyou is lol. In the game it wasn’t as obvious to me since they didn’t show it like they did with Tomoyo. In the anime though holy shit lol, she’s even worse than Tomoyo! I really do like Kyou, she’s a great character…what I don’t get is how in the hell are they gonna incorporate her story into the anime. Are they gonna cut it off completely I wonder? O.o It would like totally break things between everything! (It sorta reminds me of how Shiori’s story was in Kanon.)
Upcoming Attractions: My guess is Sunopi’s gonna hit on either Kotomi or Kyou, I can’t remember but that was the best preview ever!

The best part of the preview was the scene of TRUE FRIENDSHIP with Tomoya and Sunopi peeing.
Thanks for whiting out the spoilers, while I am very interested in the opinions of somebody who has played the game, I don’t want to spoil a KyoAni key anime for myself a 3rd time.
You’re welcome! I figured that would be the best way to be able to write coherent posts without completely scaring off the readers.
This episode was great and the storyline is flowing along very well and yes, the little warthog was very cute. (For some reason, he reminds me of Tonkatsu from Nagasarete Airantou, but totally different from Button in this anime).
By the way, Hinano, the whiting out of the text is brilliant. You should do that on this anime’s blog as well as the other ones. XD
I don’t really think I have spoilers for anything else really XD

(I still have to continue the game) So far it sounds good. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes and…this might be to early to say this but I think KyoAni will have another masterpiece that they will deliver.
The only thing about CLANNAD that annoys me….is the fanbase. Mainly the Tomoyo fanboys. (Kyou is awsome but Tomoyo not so much) =___=;;

lol. Fap fest indeed. I have Tomoyo After just for the sake to see how her after story was. Seems like there’s already fap worthy stuff in the beginning ugh. Hope the fanboys enjoy it because a Tomoyo after anime is wishful thinking…..hehe. There probably will be a lot of bitter tears when the anime ends. Kind of like Kanon am I rite?
So….what’s so great about Tomoyo? What are those fanboys are raving about? ….besides her kick combo thing (meh. not enough)…. .___.
I haven’t really seen many Kotomi fanboys yet because Tomoyoism is dominant…to dominant >__>
