Hataraki Man - 02
Woman powerrrr yeaaaa!!
I think that’s why I like this drama more than I liked Swan no Baka. It’s like woman power vs. weak man against the rest of the world…unpower or something. So in this episode Hiroko comes to the realization of how hard her boyfriend works and that there’s a reason why she doesn’t often see him (besides her own workaholic habits.) This episode also deals with how one of the writers there is a pretty girl who is getting married and quitting soon.
At first Hiroko thinks she has some “princess power” but it turns out it’s really all her hard work and effort that’s got her to where she is. She just happens to use her “woman power” rather than how Hiroko uses her “man mode”. In the end Yumi shows Hiroko that if she uses her “woman power” she can “get through” the men rather than trying to use force “against them”. With this Hiroko manages to get through to the baseball player to allow her to write a long article in JIDAI about him.
At the end they show Yumi’s wedding. Hiroko attempts to catch the bouquet but instead Tanaka catches it, but then gives it to her. She says to herself she wants to get married, but she also wants to work. Most women she says have marriage on their mind, but work is the only thing on her mind. Frankly I feel sorry for her boyfriend lol. Do they break up in the anime/manga? For some reason I want her to get with Tanaka
Upcoming Attractions: A day in the life of Tanaka.

he dumps her… Then again I felt it kinda killed the mood of the anime, I meant her drive was to associate her private happiness to her career success and in the end she failed… Still it was realistic and well done in the anime
