Shugo Chara - 02

boy I think I’m gonna blog this. It makes me laugh so hard when watching it. “OH NOES THE BISHIE LOOKED AT ME KYA!” Ahahahaha! :’D So Amu is still pissed off at her cheerleading chara but then is pleasantly surprised when all her female classmates are like “KYA YOUR CONFESSION WAS SO ADMIREABLE! <3<3" :lol: She receives a formal invitation from one of the club members to attend a "tea party" with them. Naturally the kya's continue. During art class, the blue shugo chara shows up and allows her draw really well (which helps since she happens to be drawing the stereotypical ojousama snob.)
She gets mad at the blue shugo chara but he tells her that he doesn’t like her because if she doesn’t believe in her little flying fairies they will disappear! OH NOES!! So I guess she feels sorry and decides to believe. When she goes to the Guardians’ tea party they apparently did all their research on her and know her details as far as even hating “scary things”. (How shoujoey!) They ask her to join their club because while they all have their shugo chara, only Amu appears to be able to actually transform into her “other self”. With this they want her to join so she can help them defeat the evil eggs!
As usual she says no but only because she doesn’t want to wear the guardian cape as it CLEARLY clashes with her fashion sense. So on the point of evil eggs, they appear inside kids when the kid has given up all hope. So one shota gives up hope on doing the flip over that bar thing and his egg turns evil and proceeds to scream MURI MURI MURI over and over. Amu saves him by performing a surprisingly long transformation sequence followed by shooting hearts at the evil egg to make it good again. THE POWER OF LOVE PREVAILS! 
The guardians of course watch all of this and are like “yea you’re in our club whether you like it or not lawl”. Also, while the ebil catboy had no role this week, we have some other evil bishie whose face we have yet to see lol.
I am amused.
Upcoming Attractions: The final shugo chara egg hatches.

Actually the blue shugo chara is a girl. Her name is Miki. *guilty of reading the manga* I must say, this anime is pretty hard to take seriously.

Watching this was kind of like being thrown headfirst into a silo of Skittles and lollipops. Also puzzled by how being perceived as a badass, cool sophisticate admired by everybody is a BAD thing. *shrug*
That said, I liked it. It’s So!Bedazzling! that it’s hard to not watch it. This would go good with a tab of acid and a handful of Pixy Stix.
(seems like I’m always going to be an episode behind due to English subs, so this is really in response to ep1.)
Sounds like its diverging from the manga a bit. Anyway, I’ll have to check this one out!

Man, I had to like cover my screen so my room mate wouldn’t see me watching this girly show during that super long transformation scene. Yea…it was pretty awesome.

It is diverting from the manga since we already see transformation sequences early on. But the anime is certainly amusing and hilarious! And I’m not worrying about the changes they’ve made, at least so far XD
Amu is great! more SPICE and LOVE power! haha… I sure am looking forward to smutty and sweet Amu x Ikuto scenes later on

The anime isn’t quite doing justice for him in that sense… I’m crossing my fingers and am hoping to see that smexy Ikuto in the next episode!
Although I do watch this series, I need to finish up Kamichama Karin (don’t kill me!!!). I’m surprised since this is produced by Satelight, whom you hate so much.

You’re lucky that Satelight isn’t the type of company that leaves simple mistakes left alone. They fixed all the messed-up scenes in Kamichama Karin in the DVD versions. You should be happy about that. Don’t kill me for liking the anime better than the manga. I love both and this show is good too. I also haven’t read the manga. I know I’m being an idiot right now. Sorry! >_
