KimiKiss: Pure Rouge - 02

Published by Hinano at 10:44 pm under KimiKiss: Pure Rouge

So I think I’m gonna blog this show as well. :D What I really enjoy about this anime is that everything in a typical harem show that you see…is not there. You don’t have fanservice and big boobed girls fawning over the main characters who’s got a baby carrot sized cock. In fact even the childhood friends aren’t fawning over each other. They all got their own person they wanna go after and it seems at this point it’s pretty established on who’s going after who.

Pairing One.

If there becomes some sort of rivalry that would be cool but frankly I’m pretty happy with the way things are now.

Pairing Two.

Pairing Three.

A beautiful friendship.

So despite what they say the ladies do NOT like small penises… is what I gathered from that post.

I admit that girl is pretty no where near Aya-chan. Toujou was beautiful with her glasses on but when she took them off… 0.0

It is a dead giveaway that when they first meet if the girl calls the guy a jerk, they end up with each other.

But an incestuous relationship would totally be more depraved and thus exciting! Then again it isn’t true incest.

What a great break from those harem shows where every guy other than the lead is a gag character or an underdeveloped afterthought. Kimikiss probably doesn’t even count as harem anymore, with three (four if you count Akira) male leads, each of whom would make a great male haremette in a reverse harem.

Kimikiss is good stuff. The first episode destroyed all love-love measuring devices I had hooked up to my PC. I haven’t had to have those devices repaired since I marathoned Mahoraba. I swear it’s not just my inner J.C.Staff fanboy gushing. This really is good stuff.

Yeah Hinanho, this show is refreshing. I’ll go with it for now =) I hope it doesn’t end with a “Nice Boat” … who knows times are changing.

I think school days is a nice boat that we won’t see for a long time

I got say that this past episode was not bad at all, which I hope it could stay like this throughout the whole series.

    The “You’re saxy”-line brings me more amusement that it should… D :
I wonder…is anyone going to end up with the soccer club girl…?
Well…such a question might be better to ask a bit more into the show than this.

rofl those pics are so awesome. So can you really call this a harem anime? I mean harem is like having one guy with a bunch of chicks….this isn’t really like that. I’ve just been calling it a romance anime. :3

  13. Hinano UNITED STATESon 14 Oct 2007 at 11:05 pm

I thought harem cause I thought that one guy is the main lead but the fact that most girls around him don’t give a hoot about him but have other interests…yea I guess it IS a romance anime o_o Haven’t seen one of those in a while

  14. anne UNITED STATESon 15 Oct 2007 at 9:48 pm

Well, the game WAS a harem and they of course changed a lot of things by splitting the male lead into two people… and made it not a harem… :D I think it’s a great show so far. It’s totally not what I thought it would be from the summary.

Nyaha, I like you how you blog series.

I saw the first episode of this. It seems less-complex, which I usually like. Yaay. Although, the black-haired dude’s story with that girl seems so… used already. If this anime turns out to be a super-”twist” with the pairings getting switched up, gaaah~

If this anime turns out to be a super-”twist” with the pairings getting switched up, gaaah~

Then it would be like Marmalade Boy!

  18. usagijen PHILIPPINESon 19 Oct 2007 at 8:48 am

    err… no more Marmalade-Boy-ness, I beg you T__T
having rubber-like relationships instead of a well-developed and established relationship will ruin this show =__=

in any case, I agree that the pairings are definitely set… which is why I’m sad that the soccer-girl Asuka doesn’t seem to have a pair at this point. To think that she’s the one I liked most, by reading some of the heroines’ stories in the manga :(

I still love KimiKiss as it is at this point, just a little sad about the lack of Asuka :)
