Man I love Genshiken. I read the manga a year ago but I haven’t revisited it so this doesn’t seem TOO stale to me. Then again I only remember the stuff that involved Ogiue and Sasahara or Madarame and Saki (such a sad shipper I am.) I gotta admit though I think Genshiken portrays the whole Otaku making doujinshi aspect 21827209874982 times better than Doujin Work ever did. Doujin work was just…retarded. Maybe because this show is more realistic instead of having old men run around with lolis and main characters whose first and last names mean “childhood friend.” Continue Reading »
