Well gee wiz
it’s kinda hard to hate Takano now after watching this episode. I mean if I was put in that situation I might lose my marbles too. What I guess is beyond me - why she takes revenge on Hinamizawa. Unless I missed something, I thought the whole situation with her happened in another town? Or is she just “oh here’s a way for me to become kamisama” so it doesn’t matter who or where it is. I mean I’d go and take revenge on the bastards at that foster child home. First of all if anything like that happened in the US those guys would be in prison by now…but I guess this is probably what 1960 in Japan? Hmm. Well anyway very frightening episode, hope to see more good stuff next week.

if higurashi’s anime can make you go from ‘die takano you hitler whore!!11′ to ‘can’t really hate her’ they must be doing something right ^^
and yeah, miyo(ko?)’s revenge right now is confusing … … next time they’ll finish that part though (it’s like half over in game)
I just didn’t get how that guy caught her and it looked like he was about to hit her (after she bit his finger) but then somehow she escaped. Like what happened? I thought he was gonna kill her for sure…or storywise at least beat her up so that she could no longer move for a while let alone run away
they don’t tell you anything more in the game than they do here~~
it’s because ryuukishi07 didn’t want excessive gore/ero scene, so it was like a fade to black

I am confused. So, what exactly happened to Takano at the foster house? Tempted to go to Wikipedia, but I must not.

in simplest way of saying this in my half-okay english: takano is sent to the orphanage / she’s abused and tries to escape / she gets caught and is hit in the face in the best case, assaulted and raped in the worst case / and somehow escapes after
that’s when she says “kami sama no baka!!” and asks god to go ahead and kill her~~ there’s still one more episode left for explanation though~~
Yeah, it’s very hard to hate her because she was the victim to the man’s evil intentions on her, I think the old guy and some other men made her to become the person we hate very much.
And anyone haven’t noticed that while she was in a small group of old men while she was already grown up there was a man who looks both like Hitler and the recent former prime minister of Japan Shinzo Abe at the same time.
episode 14 - the origins of Takano ^^… no more “die Takano!”? She has her story too, and deserves to be heard.
I guess she will be taken into custody by Tomitake in the arc including “happy ending”, that guy really loved her - but had guts to oppose her and die painful death.

The ending is a happy ending not this ep though. for ep 26, it goes like this, almost the same of wat happen in this ep, but all those dude with a cap got owned by sion, rena and sadokunz traps. anyways, that taka-woman fired a shot at hanyuu, hanyuu used some kind of AT-field to block the shot, but that taka-woman said”you are a monster” or something like tat, hanyuu got distracted, so the field didnt hold. when the bullet is about to hit hanyuu, rica stop the bullet by stop the time. then the taka-woman got arrested. in the end, they lived happily ever after like nothing has happened. By the way, hanyuu is introduced as a transferring student and goes to school with rica and all those people.
some brief information on Takano: first of all, takano was not her real name. Her parents are in a car accident, mom died insantly, his father then deserted her. she was sent into an orphanage, but the orphanage treated takano real bad. one day, she and some friends escaped the orphanage. coincidently, she found $10 on the road, she then phoned her father’s friend, and she lived in her father’s friend from then on.
Her fahter’s friend was the one reseaching the sickness they had in Rica’s town, and takano was immediatly interested in it. Her father’s friend had some interesting theories about the sickness, but people around them all think its a joke and laughed at him. He died soon after becuz of the laughter. Takano then changed her original name to Takano and vowed to continues the research.
She then studied hard and got into a famous university.( the faculty was parasite). anyways, she wanted to establish a research facility in Ricaz town. the research facility as we all know was the clinic. just before the facility is establish takano met with Hanyuu, and challenged Hanyuu who was oyashirosama.
Shortly after the facility is established, the dam battle started between ricaz town and Tokyo. as we all know, the town’s people hated satoku’s parents for supporting the building of the dam. Shortly after Satoku’s parents got killed by Satoku. Satoku’s brother, Satoshi send Satoku into the facility(clinic) for medical checkup. And the result report that Satoku is already a late-period patient. They then tested the medicine of delaying the disease code name”C103″ on Satoku. and they got amazing results. [PS. the original plan was to dissect Satoku and treat her like a lab rat for researching, but rica begged the doctor not to do that]. but Takano had some problem with Rica father who was a supporter of her research. the reason behind it was: Rica’s mother convinced Rica’s father not to support Takano becuz Takano had an argument with her regarding of Rica’s fever. then of course Takano was pissed and had the same guy who killed Rica killed Rica’s parents. When studying Satoku’s disease, Takano was able to make a biological weapon, code name “H70″,this weapon’s effect can cause people to enter level 5 of disease right way( the symptom as we all know is people would scratch their own throat and die). When Takano’s reseach was in the climax, one of her main supporter died, the people in “tokyo” wanted to cancel the project in Ricaz town. Takano was pissed becuz she wasnt able to complete her father’s friend’s reseach.
Of course, Tokyo didnt cancel it right way, they give Takano three year to complete the reseach, but the time wasnt enough. But a woman approached Takano regarding the research, and Takano decided to work with her. She basically decide to take revenage on TOKYO becuz she knows that if she succeed in her research, TOKYO ｉｓ ｇｏｉｎｇ ｔｏ ｔａｋｅ ｃｒｅｄｉｔ ｆｏｒ ｉｔ． Ｉｔ ｗａｓ ｔｈｅ ｂｅｇｉｎｉｎｇ ｏｆ ｔｈｅ ｍａｓｓ ｍａｓｓｃａｒｅ ｔｈａｔ ｈａｐｐｅｎｅｄ ｉｎ ｅｐ １３．（ｓｈｅ ｈａｄ ｔｏ ｋｉｌｌ ｒｉｃａ， ｔｈｅ ｑｕｅｅｎ ｉｎｆｅｃｔｏｒ，ｆｉｒｓｔ）．

Spoiling things like that (if that’s what shiranui just did, I’m not in the mood to check beyond a certain point) isn’t fun.
It’s always nice to leave a little spoiler disclaimer if you’re going to do so. I caught on early enough not to read much of that anyway.
Going back to this last episode, I think that Takano is so full of hate and anger that it doesn’t matter who she takes it out on, furthermore, proving her uncle’s (or grandpa’s or whoever’s) theory will basically “immortalize” her, giving her some sort of meaning to her life. (Since she’s probably given up on ever being happy because of what haunts her, as you can from how she wakes up for that dream) It does explain (though not excuse) why she more or less does not show compassion to anyone in previous episodes/arcs.
