So it’s been ages since Ouran anime ended and I’ve been somewhat keeping up with the manga. I recently purchased volume 10 and 11 and to be honest, I’m only reading it for the sole purpose of Haruhi x Tamaki. Unfortunately, the mangaka does not seem to feel the same way as she has been throwing in random characters and stories and so much fucking text, that I’ve gotten to the point where I’d glance and flip to the next page because I just don’t wanna read it.

The only highlights were that in volume 10 the daughter of that drag queen granny at that Inn who is a total ganguro gets a crush on Tamaki and begs for Haruhi to help her.

SURPRISE!
Ok I was pretty surprised too I had no idea this was out already until my eyes landed on the special edition version! In case you’re wondering my current banner is actually what the cover of the SE looks like. Sexy nurse Karin and sexy patient Kazune. Also the picture of Kazune in the inside illustration shown here is very sexxxyy. I can’t say the same for the volume itself though. All of this sexiness was more appropriate for volume 4 in my opinion. So most of the manga was story action which began with Mion creating yet another stupid play, this time though it seemed like a twisted version of the 3 musketeers. Since the 1st season play was a success she decided to cast Micchi, Karin & Kazune again - which caused some tension because Kazune didn’t really wanna talk to Micchi anymore. Continue Reading »

You know the ending
made me cry, but not the part with Sano lawl! While I admit that Sano acted probably his best in this episode than he did the whole series, the award for best male of the show clearly goes to Nakatsu, and in MY mind him and Mizuki are this drama’s OTP! (I don’t care what the manga says because apparently manga Sano isn’t a big jackass.) Anyway the 3 dorm leaders find out that Mizuki is a girl because they accidentally catch her changing. They confront her and she admits it, simultaneously discovering that Sano & Nakatsu both knew way before that she was a girl as well. Continue Reading »

As a sequel to yesterday’s post:
Television Kanagawa has decided to cancel the final episode of the anime “School Days,” which shows a high school girl acting violently, in response to the recent murder of a Kyoto Prefectural Police officer by his 16-year-old daughter.
The broadcaster made the decision to cut the final episode on Tuesday. The drama is also being aired by Chiba Television Broadcasting Corp. and Aichi Television Broadcasting Co. Those two stations also reportedly plan to halt broadcasts.
The computer love simulation game on which the anime was based has about 20 different endings and one shows a high school girl slashing a victim with a knife.Television Kanagawa officials said that the last episode of the anime shows a schoolgirl acting violently. To tone down the scene, the victim’s blood was made black instead of red, but after the killing in Kyoto on Tuesday, officials decided to cancel the episode.
Officials at communications satellite broadcaster “AT-X,” which airs anime restricted to viewers aged 15 or over, said they were still considering whether to screen the final episode.
Wuh oh. This may mean a DVD only release guys

And so our magical girl show no. 1
of this season has come to an end. They pretty much rushed it in all the wrong places and dragged it out in all the wrong ones as well. I will make a few notes below to what they have skipped. Overall though I guess it was an okay show. As I have stated over and over, the show was really watered down from the game and potentially COULD have been a bit longer. Also they really made Sumomo into a crybaby here, without actually showing that she had grown out of it - aside from the last episode (where I honestly feel she SHOULD have cried because it was something worth crying over.) They also skipped the scene where Sumomo confessed to Tsuwabuki saying that she liked him, because she was hoping it would trigger his memory. They also skipped the part where despite the fact that he politely tells her he doesn’t remember much, she wants to give him her virginity. This is actually what would have happened during the anime credits roll: Continue Reading »

So most of you guys who have
read the manga probably know there’s a new rival in town for Ootani. I love this show/manga & all, but it starts to bring me back to memories of Marmalade Boy where most of the relationship between the main characters was established, but they then had to go through like 10 love triangle conflicts before the damn thing ended and everyone was paired up. (or in this case completely out of the picture.) Risa has taken a part time job as a waitress near Ootani’s cram school. Unfortunately there’s a part time chef kid there who’s also into Umi Bouzu and totally has the hots for Risa. Even though everything so far has been a misunderstanding, naturally Ootani would be mad that while he’s studying Risa is running off having fun with another guy. The episode ends with him saying that he wants to break up.
Upcoming Attractions: Risa tries her best to save her relationship.
