Kamichama Karin - 26 (Finale)
Satellite fails 
on many levels, and after JP told me what animes they did (Glass no Kantai, Koisuru Tenshi Angelique) my suspicions have been confirmed. I think I will avoid any and all shows made by them (even though I did a good job of doing so up to this). I don’t know wtf happened during the Kirio fight as I had trouble paying attention since it seemed like he kept beating Karin in the head and kicking Kazune in the face multiple times. Actually in the manga, Kazune almost killed him except last minute his power ran out and he began coughing blood and passed out. Yea….that didn’t happen. I dunno what was happening but all of a sudden I realized the dialogue began to match the manga and things somewhat fell into place.
However at the very end where we were supposed to have a romantic Karin x Kazune reunion scene, we get:

I love how they never even introduced Jin-kun into this equation but slapped that stupid image at the end anyway. Thanks you assholes. In any case, we were SUPPOSED to get this, so please enjoy it instead of the crap above:
Wow this series was complete fail. It failed the moment Karin began to look like a cockroach in episode 4.

I think it happened, but it didn’t last too much. I love Kamichama Karin but the anime was for sure a failure..When i watched the 1st episode I thought that it would be a good anime, but in episode 4 i lost my hope, i watched every episode till end, because i really love Kamichama Karin. And i didn’t understand the end, well it starded the series witch Chu and finished with Chu… It didn’t explain too many things…I was so execited to see this series and it was what it was =(

Glass no Kantai was a co-production with Gonzo. I blame Gonzo on that one
In any case, Japes has been a bit selective in his panning of Satelight if those are the only shows he named - I mean, they also did Noein (great!), Arjuna (acquired taste, but I think it’s great), Heat Guy J (great!), Aquarion (errr, I thought the orgasmitc gattais were funny, and love the general fruitiness) and probably some other decent shows that I’m forgetting. The thing is, the quality of their output depends pretty much entirely on who is directing - it’s its Kazuki Akane or Shoji Kawamori, the show will be pretty decent and well produced, if rather unconventional. Anyone else, and it’s a total crapshoot (usually focusing on the “crap” part).

this series really upsets me. the 1st episode went so well, what in gods name happened? I read the manga up to chapter 29 volume 7 and im waiting for chu to come out in America so i can buy it. The anime could’ve done so much better :c oh and btw my first time posting ^ ^ great web and thanks for the lovey dovey scans kawaii!
p.s. if they have another season please please please god help them if they screw that one up.
Acutally the ending does make sense in the context of what happened in the very first episode. You were never going to get the exact manga end since they threw Karin back into a time loop.
There was never any chance for a 1:1 adaptation since the manga is too short for a full seasoning and too long for half. Excessive padding. If you the reason for the story decoupling, ask the scriptwriter who is adapting the show. Take a look at Transformers. They changed it.
Satelight does a fairly good job on their shows. If you want to pan lousy quality production values, pan Nanoha. Yes, Nanoha. All THREE series. The DVD releases basically corrects tons of mistakes.
At least they made Kamichama after the manga finished unlike Pita. Now if they wait for Chu manga to finish, we can have Kamichama Karin Chu anime! :3

yea- i was hoping for a very romantic end but they disappoint me (If she can’t ‘hug’ Kazune I want her t hug Suzune) I think eps 25 is better in terms of emo and all (i’m an emo girl yeah) but when Kazune cough blood in this eps, the blood was BLACK! (yikes! the nice boat phenomena strikes again) xD

WTFFF? Good thing I stopped watching the anime after 17 and just started reading your blog on it. Numbah 1: THE ANIMATION SUCKS MAJOR BUTT. WTF is up with that? Numbah 2: There a limit in anime from going from the original storyline. I mean I was pretty confused with the first episode. Whaddya mean Jin? Who tha hell is that? Hes a Chu character!! Hes not supposed to come at all in this series! THE MANGA IS 2394376xs better!!! Please dont judge Kamichama Karin on this pitiful excuse for a anime!! It really is a cute manga with beautiful drawings and awesome storyline!!

oh man the manga is ssooooo much better then this…..jezzz y don’t they put what the mang is alredy y can’t they man.

Aside from the henshin sequences and occasional Photoshop effects, Satellite FAILS AT LIFE with Kamichama Karin. They made it really strange and didn’t capture the atmosphere at all. Grrr. And what’s with omitting my precious Karizune scenes!? *throws things at teh studio and its director*
I have to admit, episode 19 was lovely though.
no way i just saw that THIS IS the finale ep T_T NO!!!….how can they do this to me (is sad crys…sniff) thar better be good anime after this one T_T
It’s a good thing Di Gi Kazune knows what I’m talking about. Sure animation mistakes are seen in TV, but companys DO fix those errors in the DVD version! We all know we won’t have a complete 100% manga adaption of an anime. Some things are changed and there’s nothing you can do about it! I for one don’t care how the anime and manga are. I will always love both even if there are some changes. Besides, I know there are people out there who love the anime and don’t care about the animation mess-ups and manga-to-anime changes. You can’t blame Satelight for trying their best.

Nanoha TV was horribly done. There were so many corrections in the DVD version.
Now excuse me while I enjoy Kamichama DVD 4/5. Only two more to buy.
PS Kazune Miku is cute. Kazune is cute in a dress.
