Boob no Tsukaima - 12 (Finale)
You know they
COULDA made this all emotional and sweet and shit…but NO. They had to ruin it by focusing on the one thing this whole series was about: BIG BOOBS. Yes Saito was saved by the fucking BOOB fairy which pissed Louise off once again and they even added a recycled pan shot of Siesta’s huge rack for kicks & giggles. Also the whole point of Saito fighting that whole army? Wut? Deus ex Machina anyone? Wow that was dumb. If there’s a sequel to this I don’t think I wanna bother watching it. It’s so irritating when they try to combine fanservice & story because it makes no fucking sense and in the end the one thing we all waited for 2 seasons (well at least I did) is for Louise to get over her tsundereass and Saito to stop chasing after melons. But no. For all it matters you coulda watched episodes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 12 and missed absolutely nothing.

On the subject of 3rd season … my sentiments exactly.
As for the rest, the Saito vs army is on the novel but here is the difference, Saito dies (or seems to) and Louise goes searching for with Siesta tagging along.
Big breasted elf does save Saito but Saito feels bad about losing or something (been some time since I read the spoilers) and does not want to show when Louise does find the village were Saito is recovering, he hides from her and she even visits his “grave”.
(The elf also ends up wanting Saito … man parts in case anyone is wondering)
Then Louise gets desperate and casts the familiar spell to get Saito back and from it works and they are reunited.
And the worst they WERE building up for that, the whole “nobles are expected to die” deal with Louise and Saito was a setup for what I just said (Louise gets to understand loss) and what we got? a coop-out for having a “good ending” and if they try to pull out what I said above what is the point? we know Saito is alive, we know they get reunited so the whole thing is wasted and for what? a crappy ending … better off with a cliffhanger then … this.
they coulda prolly put what you said into maybe 1 more episode to have a 13 episode ending. I think that woulda been better….than having him randomly show up alive
One would be difficult without then having to rush it … I think it could run in 3 episodes and it could been done if they trimmed the “fat” (the Hidden library episode and the Lost in the mountains episode) and they made this 13 or just leave it with Saito seeming dead instead (they just introduced Elf-chan for what? if there is a 3rd season in the works let it end on a cliffhanger, it worked for Code Gayass) and then start with that in the 3rd season.
And talking about 3rd season … what will be like? sure there is Elf-Chan and Henrietta that now exist as Louise rivals for Saito but really what is going to be about? more idiocy about the “bad guys” since they are at large (lets not forget at least season 1 wrapped things with Cromwell) and what happened in this season as “things happened, Albion lost the war and … that is about it”, perhaps this arc was just too big for only 12 episodes but in the end J. C. Staff screwed up by having no plot direction and coop-out in the ending.
… Does not bode well for “Shakugan no Shana” 2nd season …
haven´t watched the final episode. And I will watch it, but with no love for the show any longer, first season was quite nice to watch, funny and good.
This has been one helluva dissapointment, but giving it got me started on a couple of threads I have to say thank you for creating such assholes to characters in the show.
For the show itself, it sucks. Could have been quite good with lots of laughter, but we go from fanservice to boring, boring, some fun, fanservice and then just there we are getting dead serious? Following the serious part mixed with fanservice and I don´t know what to do or think anymore.
I would watch the first episode of a third season, if it starts of like this did then I´ll abandon it without feeling remorse.
That is not true. This season was also about Agnes getting stabby. Also, wouldn’t BIG BOOBS be counted as two things, technically?
When is the fansub of that boat coming out? It looked pretty nice.

More then that … it started on ep 5 and ended at ep 9, it would not been so bad if Agnes and Colbert development was not at the cost of almost everything else, only Henrietta was a little developed during all that.

i think they should have ended this series with a cliffhanger ending imo it is safer also it gives them some room for the 3rd season if ever or whenever it comes out

How did Saito ended up in a enchanted forest where that she-elf (I think her name is Tiffania according to the light novel version of the series) was if he was in a middle of the battlefield mortally wounded?

I’ll do you one better. I’ve only watched ep 12. And for the first 4/5 of the episode I was just about to be converted to a ZnT fan. Then reset ending ftl.
