Lovely Complex - 22
So most of you guys who have 
read the manga probably know there’s a new rival in town for Ootani. I love this show/manga & all, but it starts to bring me back to memories of Marmalade Boy where most of the relationship between the main characters was established, but they then had to go through like 10 love triangle conflicts before the damn thing ended and everyone was paired up. (or in this case completely out of the picture.) Risa has taken a part time job as a waitress near Ootani’s cram school. Unfortunately there’s a part time chef kid there who’s also into Umi Bouzu and totally has the hots for Risa. Even though everything so far has been a misunderstanding, naturally Ootani would be mad that while he’s studying Risa is running off having fun with another guy. The episode ends with him saying that he wants to break up.
Upcoming Attractions: Risa tries her best to save her relationship.

The streak in his hair makes him kinda metro though.
Ootani has had all kinds of people chasing his tail and ONE lousy guy shows up for Risa and he wants to take his ball and go home. Big stupid baby, sheez. What a petulant candy-a$$. I like his character, but dear lord. For all her crying, Risa definitely has the bigger sack between the two of them.
I haven’t seen this yet — English subs, where art thou? — so maybe there’s some emotional nuance I don’t know about that would mitigate my scorn. ^^
Ootani does need to grow some walnuts down there. Seriously, Ootani, go beat the guy up if he gets on your nerves so much. Or, you can just do a Makoto and have a big orgy party.

Hey guys, I’ve been reading the last two reviews on Lovely Complex. This one and 21 but episode 21 hasn’t even come out yet? I checked on animesuki and mininova, but they don’t have it yet. Anyone know where I can get these episodes? Please help me out!

Well to Atsushi’s defense, he did shrug off the near kiss thing seen in Hinano’s screenshot. All he did was call her a hentai because she was making out with a chibi-san.
But what really did Risa in was that after the kiss thing she went to an umibouzu concert with chibi-san while Atsushi was at home studying and taped the concert for Risa to listen to. When he went to give it to her he caught them both coming back from the concert and some heated words came out of Atsushi as he rode away on his bike.
I agree with him getting mad at Risa, but he needs to step up and be more manly and crap…that way she won’t even think about picking some concert over her boyfriend but he always acts all shy & then yells at her like a some tsundereboy

Ah, I see. Yeah, that’s not nice.
However, as Ootani has been the King of Spectacularly Dense and Archduke of Unintentionally Not Nice through this whole thing, I still say he doesn’t have much right to play the martyr card just yet. Put the blame where it’s due and beat the crap out of the other guy. Then maybe yell some more and make up with the girlfriend. Easy.
Otoh, if people behaved logically and sensibly, this wouldn’t be much of an anime…. ^^

Actually in shoujo it seems they end up with feelings for the serial rapists (that act even worst that MANWHORES) and never care about the nice guys that always end up rejected.
Not its that much different in real life … they want a alpha male, someone that takes care of then and moment they realize said men do have feelings and insecurities seems to be the moment they stop caring about him.
Awesome. It’s that… dude. How… amazing. So once again, another /fun/ triangle appears. Whoo.
And to comment on the picture? The shadowing is pretty. 0___o
I want to watch this but i dont know where to find the episode i saw it raw but i didnt understand it!!! i shouldnt have done it because now it makes me wanna see it more!!!

Anyway…
The main point is…
Ootani should stop being a little kid afraid of acknowledging that his dog (Risa) has other people who like her too.
Risa clearly likes Ootani. (But Ootani’s just too dense to figure that out at first.)
Suck it up and be a man (aka, get some *****).
On a side note, we have a good-looking guy character in this anime, for once.
Nice highlights, too. ^-~
Also, I’d like to point out that the TW drama Tokyo Juliet is sucky also.
Same thing: established relationship with eight million love polygrams.
I take back that part where I said we finally have someone good looking.

this guy is probably alot better for Risa then Otani, if u think of it he is basically like Risa when she was trying to get Otani
