   Yeah that hikari bit was confusing. Remember when she asked him to give that pool ticket to taisuke but he thought that she liked him as well? I thought that cleared up that she was not in the mix. But I remember that in Summer Days, makoto got to do hikari in the woods so I guess she is fair game.

   And actually sekai is not regretting that she is pregnant from what I saw. I cannot understand japanese but I gathered that she wanted to have his baby.

   All and all I think this is a pretty cool way to do things. The first three episodes in the series were really bad but now they give you all the girls without actually having to play the game and woo each girl individually which was a pain. All that is absent is the gore.

   I feel so betrayed…Katsura lost her killer insitinct and worse she did not even gut any one, fuck! I hope this is some ruse that Hauptmann Katsura is using, otherwise she will have to pay for her treachery. If they have a harem ending where all is forgiven it will be the biggest crime of the season. In such an event I curse the writer and director with the ten plagues of Egypt. Haruhi-sama and God hate Itou.

   I dearly hope that your screenshot will come. I can’t believe they dared to show a knife without it ever being used in a righteous smiting. Sekai is now pregnant with the spawn of Itou. I am against an abortion, I am for miscarriage or a very lethal still birth. There is no one respectable left anymore, I just want them all to be seared by the fires of retribution and consumed by the flames justice until there is but only ash.

   The path of the righteous woman is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of Itou. Blessed is she who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for she is truly her sister’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And she will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy her sisters. And you will know her title is Hauptmann when she lays her vengeance upon thee.

   i m thankful that i never watched this series but from all the reviews and blogs that i read one factor might make watch one ep of this and that is Makoto’s bloody gruesome death scene think Higurashi style

   I can’t wait until next Tuesday when either there will be a collective sigh of relief among School Days viewers everywhere when Makoto dies or a unified hate for the series when he is crowned the greatest harem master ever.

   I am also confused about the whole Hikari thing. It was incredibly random and she ended up lecturing him every time after they did it =\

    What a way it ended the episode with the anime’s main title in Kana at the very end of it, meaning that the last episode (yes, Hinano, the last episode is next week) will reveal the ending but we still have to guess how it will end. So, let’s make some bets people! What would the ending (~cough*bad*cough~) would you like to see? XD

    I do suspect its going to be Sekai bad ending considering Sekai pregnancy and him returning to Kotonoha … and it should make many of you happy because its the only ending were Makoto dies.

    1. The Seven Seals, (as in sealing a letter, not the type you feed fish to)
    2. The Seven Trumpets, and
    3. The Seven Bowls of the Apocalypse

    on those writers if they give us a very, very lame ending other than the bad ending.

    Haven’t actually seen any episodes of this (too busy watching the J.C.Staff show whose title begins with “Pote” and which I am forbidden from mentioning on this blog) but I do have some questions.

    It seems all the characters in School Days just plain suck. So why would anyone play a dating sim where you played an unlikeable guy who got to go out with a number of unlikeable girls? And why would enough people enjoy such a game to justify the production of an anime based off of it?

    Or because it is a setup … in one of the ending Setsuna sends a picture of her were its obvious she is pregnant.

    Also Hinano I like to point out until the school festival there was not much anyone could blame of Makoto besides not ending things with Kotonoha … the animation team had a lot to chose from and they decide to do this, I take if we want we can make Makoto “le chien fidèle” by not having any interest of any girl besides the one he was perusing, a point that was ignored by the “Makoto must die” fanclub.

    With leads to the point … considering how this could have a good ending why so much desire to see Makoto doing something to earn the whole “death to Makoto”? and that started from episode 1 … I “defended” Makoto from what I seen as prejudice based ONLY on the desire from him to be killed, the intent from having him dead started long before he actually done anything in the anime to earn it … now we can he does but it was after what? 7-9 episodes after the first?

    To tell the truth, the ending songs for this series was one of very few positive aspect of this anime series.

    @Darkron The first and second eps were basically the same as any harem anime, setting up the love triangle. He was easy to defend at that point, because he actually hasn’t done anything wrong. But then he constantly molests Kotonoha in ep3, almost rapes Sekai in ep4, rapes Sekai in ep5(Sekai says no, even if it was weak, she still said it) and through ep6&7 strings Kotonoha along despite intending(but failing) to break up with her for Sekai. That’s all before the festival and the train of sluts to follow. No one would be screaming for blood if he was simply indecisive. It’s that while he is indecisive, he goes around humping everything that will let him without a single damn care about about anything but how to satisfy his tiny lower brain. Hell, the only reason he’s turning back to Kotonoha here is because the only other girl sill willing to screw him has become more tiring to deal with than Kotonoha. Makoto has well earned his “bad” ending.

    As for why the girls deserve to die too, well they are all rushing around trying to screw Makoto as if he’s God’s gift to women. And then go hanging out with each other as if no one is betraying the other and that all this is just a happy normal little world. There’s nothing in their characters worth redeeming.

    God, the final episode is nowhere long enough to contain a satisfying amount of blood and gore.

    Well look at it this way if he gets together with Kotonoha it at least sets up an ending where he will DIE. After all in Kotonoha endings she’s only after traumatizing him… Then again I think living with the guilt of messing up a girl to go psycho crazy is more fitting. But… the slow knife death would be just as painful. I just do hope it doesn’t turn happy :_:. Really rooting for a bloody or traumatic ending.

    I still wish for a MakotoxKotonoha ending, just because I feel really sorry for her now - Or at least it’s Kotonoha who gets to murder him. And well, Otome is the most sensible of the girls after all >>;

    Now that we saw that Sekai is pregnant and Kotonoha has yet to lose her virginity (which she will probably do with Makoto), it looks like the ending would be pointing to the “To my children” bad ending, if anyone is familiar to this title and played the game version, you know what I am talking about.

    Let him who is without any sin of ever hurting someone because he/she can’t control his/her hormone, cast the first knife.

    It’s not like Makoto raped those girls. Many times, it was the girl who initiated. He gotta think, “This feels good and she seems to like it too.” It wasn’t until at the end of this episode that he’s beginning to realize that there has been pain inflicted.

    I myself am certainly quilty in some degree also. *drops knife and leave.*

    If Kotonoha is going to kill Sekai isn’t she like going to kill the baby too? I would figure even Kotonoha wouldn’t do that. Or does she like want everything Sekai removed from the world?

    Anyway Makoto went from rather realistic cheating bastard to super exaggerated cheating bastard, but even I felt bad that he got someone pregnant at that age (seriously that’s gotta suck) but that sympathy went away when he said he “loved” Kotonoha, he could atleast be a man in the end. I liked him for a while, I mean cheating is “ok” to an extent (depends on the people) but it went kinda to far.

    If Kotonoha is wanting to kill Sekai or Makoto she is so retarded, why not let them suffer forever having to take care of a baby and rub it in their faces every day!

    wow im still the only one to notice the ambulance sirens in the preview which btw hasent happened in any other preview so it might just be the clue everyone is hoping for

    and ya im not sticking up for makoto but he seems pretty sincere about the apology sinc ehe got to his knees and begged her for forgiveness and was crying too..but hes still a moron beyond morons

    P.S. I saw eroscreencaps of summer days and Makoto even does with KOKORO =_= Although not in School Days this just gives you another reason to hate him. The best part was though Kotonoha ran in on them and beat him unconscious with a golf club. XDDD

    I’ve become numb to the obvious fan-baiting with knives or knitting needles or standing on rooftops or ambulance sirens… At first, I thought it was being gracious foreshadowing. (Or is it foreplay?) But with the Kotonoha doing a reset at the end of this ep, it looks more like the director is just screwing around.

    can’t wait to watch the ending
    hopefully the ending will be: seikei stabs makodo, then kodonoha slides seikei for revenge with a saw and ends her life by jumping off the roof. Last sence is setsuna come back and standing in front of seikai’s grave.
    this will warp up the 3 classical endings of school days

    and i agree, the part with hikari is a bit too rush and I’m like “what! they did it already?!”

    I think Makoto should die, for me to be able to forgive him, but hmm. on second thought eventhough he dies I still won’t be able to forgive him.
    Let the other characters live, especially Sekai cause she’s having a baby, not because I like her. I hate people who steals someone else’s possession, go and shag someone else for pete’s sake.
