Zero no Tsukaima II - 10

Wow ZnT has become serious business. So as you can tell the only scene that I enjoyed in this episode is when they were stuck in the ice dome. Just as I predicted on cue “now she’s gonna strip” and so she did lol. The rest of the episode felt fillariciously retarded especially when they introduce a 1 ep. character who you will never see again. I don’t even know/nor was I paying attention on what the hell their actual mission was…nor did it matter anyway. The last few weeks it was all seriousness and fighting and not as fanservicy. I’m all good with that but when it’s completely random and thrown in like this week…I think I’d rather see Saito-and-his-harem episodes instead.

    Same thing happened with Siesta cousin back in the 1st season, its not as if they never done a “1 episode character” before.

    I think they are going to drag a bit and end with a certain event (too bigger spoiler for me to say what it is), I guess its going to be a cliffhanger ending.

    Isn’t it the title of the next episode is the same from the light novel version of this anime (Volume 7 - The Silver Pentecost). I guess they’re jumping ahead of the story, if I’m wrong?

    Oh they been doing that for a while, even in the first season … I guess some the novel chapters can be “re-ordered” without much loss of the main plot.

    I’m really starting to enjoy this season - there are some really good episodes which have devices hitting you completely out of left field - the death of Colbert-sensei, the revelation that he used to be in the army, Saito finally accepting Louise’s feelings and feeling her up on a boat like some scene out of H-game

    It’s nice to see some refreshing story devices in such a tired harem formula these days…
