Naruto -Shippuuden- 246
THIS WAS THE BEST FUCKING EPISODE I’VE SEEN ALL YEAR. 
And next week looks to be even better. Just looking ahead in the manga made me go “PWNED BITCH!” multiple times. Sorry I don’t like Sasori. In fact the only people who like him are Akatsukitards and yaoi fangirls who want him to buttsecks Deidara (although they also want Deidara buttsecksing Tobi.) But man those of you who are still in the impression that Sakura is a stupid useless whiny bitch, seriously need to stfu, sit down and watch this episode. The scene where she knocked him into bits had me cheering in all sorts of ways. Even though I know it happened before this has gotta be one of my favorite battles of the time skip. (Woulda been even better without the team gai fillers but eh I’ll forgive them for making this episode so awesome.) This may come as a shocker, but we may actually see a conclusion to this arc by the end of September since the Sakura fight appears to be finished next week!

This episode was the shiz-nite! OMG
I was so jazzed I posted accidentally. I just finished watching this minute and as usual you are dead on in your expert analysis. This episode was like cheeze whiz, fried foods & potato chips for my eyeballs. It was just unbeatable.
I believe the whole purpose of Sakura’s story leads right up to this arc. Starting with the episode “Sakura Blossoms” (the episode where I actually began to respect her), where she did the best she could with her few skills to protect Sauske & Naruto & Lee during the Chunin Exam, to becoming Tsunade’s pupil, etc.
I loved how this was directed! There was not a dull second in this one. It made all the frustrations of the last few months simply melt away. I’ve been waiting for the 10/100 since whatever week that scanlation came out and it did not disappoint.
I was never a Sasori fan; and have encountered very few in my Internet musings, but he had to go. And I loved watcher Sakura & Chiyo send him on his way (at least for this episode). This would have been ultra-cool if it had been a 1 hour special. But I’m not complaining.
They did a perfect job of enduring Chiyo and the slight bond between her and Sakura is very touching. The end of this arc will be sad. I doubt I’ll cry, but I’ll still feel it.
I wonder how many episodes are there where Naruto doesn’t make an appearance? Not many. At least this arc will be over before Christmas. I genuinely didn’t think it would a few weeks ago; but I’m glad to be wrong.

no argument here, an excellent episode! In the pre-filler episodes Sakura was always in Sasuke’s and Naruto’s shadows. Now it looks like she could easily hold her own against either one of them (387 meters, a new record - heh heh). Oh, yeah, and last week’s episode didn’t suck. It was just the buildup for THIS week’s episode. So when does Sakura get to summon a slug?

we are almost with Kakashi and my top 5 favorite chapter of naruto past time skip. if they can pull it off like with this episode, Shippuuden was worth it.
