Nanatsuiro★Drops - 08
So the last few weeks
I was drowning in corny because of the way they handled these last 2 episodes. I felt like I was taken back to 1996 where girls blushed when they accidentally held boys’ hands, and when the thought of kissing made them roll around their bed hugging a pillow. They didn’t clearly state that really the reason Tsuwabuki asked Sumomo out is because he found out (as Yuki-chan) that she liked him. Also the reason that she “ran away” from him wasn’t because “she liked the sensei” =_=; but because she was upset that he didn’t ask her to go out with him at first…but rather just said “I like you”…she she got all upset thinking that he didn’t actually like her until..he said it again =.=;; Also what’s with Nobuko x Keisuke? In the game, it was really obvious she had a bit of a crush on Tsuwabuki at first o_o. I also don’t like how they degraded Nona down to a “bad guy of the week” role. She’ll show up, bitch about some challenge, get her ass kicked by the amazing Sumomo, and then go off crying about it or something. I wish they’d give her more real screen time to develop her as a character, rather than an annoying plot device.

I dunno….it just doesn’t feel like Sumomo & Haru were “developed” enough to convince me they’re in love with each other. It was so chopped up that while I love this kind of stuff, in this case it floods me in a sea of corny.
Upcoming Attractions: Sumomo discovers Haru’s secret.

Finally! This is a very cute show. I’m on episode six, waiting for seven patiently, but it’s nice see you discuss something I’m actually watching.
I understand your plight about the game being better than the anime. Most manga I’ve read tend to stray or disappoint in their anime form. Naruto, Ah! My Goddess, Claymore (so far), & a couple of others held true. Most others change.
I’ve always wondered if it were a marketing thing. I personally watched all of Full Metal Alchemist, then read (and continue to read) the manga. Totally different, but just as good. I guess it depends on what you like first, I preferred the Anime of FMA slightly.
As for Plot Device, I mean Nona, I wasn’t aware she was anything more than what she is in the anime. But she makes a pretty good plot device, don’t you think.
when I was like 5 I used to watch She-Ra, and there is a character named “Peek-a-bloo” (She was half Peacock) who’s sole purpose was to be kidnapped. 3 Episodes, 3 kidnappings. Nona’s got it good.
yea I heard that FMA was changed dramatically but I could never get into the manga because of the complex Japanese and not too hot on the art style
its just sad to see NOna brought down to such a level when I actually DID like her in the game near the end…but at this rate she’s just a nuisance :/
Just get to the H-scenes quick! We can’t take anymore of this deviation anymore! :3
“where girls blushed when they accidentally held boys’ hands”
but this is full of win
