Obligatory Yearly AMV
So it’s that time of year where I have to make an amv out of what’s on my hard drive and then delete it all because I no longer burn anime o_o; Windows Vista + Adobe Premiere Elements = Boom! Not that great and Dailymotion has it out of sync but eh check it out anyway

Funny how a lot of these series weren’t even listed yet on AMVs.org. This happened when I first made my Beep! AMV in 2006.
Bah! The preview of last week was misleading! There was only like 2 seconds of Siesta combined with a boob joke. W/e. >_> So anyway this week focuses on a character with a parodied name and background - Julius Ceasar of “Romaria” harrrrr (x1000). So it seems all the boys at school are getting drafted into the army because of the war. All the girls are crying and weeping with their boyfriends, until of course Julius shows up and swoons them all. As typical, he has interest in only Louise, which makes Kirsche jealous, pisses Saito off and creates a step ladder for more predictability to come. 
So after Risa is shocked, she goes into “stupid doll mode” and tells Ootani she’ll see him tomorrow. Unfortunately hear tears break the facade and she runs off screaming “goodbye”. Maity runs after her and gives her a comforting hug. In the meantime, Nobu & the rest are busy scowling at Ootani for saying such things. He just retorts that the annoying old man teacher pissed him off which is why he said those things. Risa tells herself she knows that he doesn’t like her, but hearing it again only hurts more. 
because I had nothing good to say about it. It was a blah episode to me. Ok let’s think about this: We’re at episode 17…and I still have no idea wtf is the point of this show. Someone tells me it’s gonna be 52 episodes…52 episodes of what? I mean the whole premise of Hayate was cool for the first 7-8 eps but afterwards I’m kinda just sitting there going…so like what’s the point? The bleeped out parodies are no longer funny to me because I never get half of them. The obvious parodies (like the MAR waitress and all the 17th century Klaus paintings) aren’t as “omg lol!” anymore. I mean I enjoy watching the show sometimes and all. I liked this week’s episode of Hayate really trying to help Nagi by making sure that she wasn’t embarrassed in front of everyone. It was really sweet near the end but I can’t help think that “oh they were just parodying some random anime” (like how the title parodied Hand Maid May) and the whole “seriousness” aspect flies away for me. I don’t wanna drop the show but I’m not sure if I’ll be strictly blogging it week to week anymore unless I got something good to say.
Well despite last week’s stupid episode, there was a lot of progress this week. It almost feels like they jumped over an ant hill last week and this week they jumped over Mount Fuji as far as plot. Some of it seems a bit made up but at least parts are somewhat following the manga. So first Himeka has a dream where she meets the other Himeka and the moment their hands touch, the earth “cracks into pieces” and the next morning both Himekas say they had a weird dream last night. 
Another great episode that begins with Megumi and Marie going shopping for swimsuits. While Marie has no trouble picking one out, one of the workers there drags Megumi over and whispers her secretly about their new product line - Milfeulle pads which apparently increase your boob size by 2 cups. Megumi is of course totally impressed by it and asks for it in pink because of the whole pink thing that she’s been on lately after what her dad told her. When they get back to their office, Marie wants to see the swimsuit but Megumi is too embarrassed. While fighting for it, one of the pads flies out and hits her boss (who just walked into the room) in the face. XDDDDDDDDD 
SO I finally figured out the whole plot behind this anime. This is like the insect version of Romeo & Juliet. (I just hope they don’t die at the end.) At school Daisuke can’t stop thinking about Shiika and his project group teases him for it. They get into a discussion on bugs and Lady Bird girl (whatever her real name is) flips out when they say that bugs are disgusting. Later on she tells her team mates that there’s a “firefly” person in the park today and she wants to capture them and make them her ally.
If you haven’t figured it out by now, the “firefly” is Shiika and after their date in the park, she realizes Daisuke is I guess a bug destroyer and she pushes him away then runs off. Daisuke in the meantime gets a call from HIS team mates telling him there’s a few exterminations to be done and that Lady Bird is there as well. Daisuke goes and changes into his battle suit (and somehow his hairstyle changes along with it) and then he runs into a little girl who’s crying for her mom. Turns out the little girl has a bug and when he kills the bug the girl dies, and Lady Bird sees all this from the bushes and screams “NOOO!!”
