Mushi-Uta - 04
Wow just…wow.
What an intense episode. I know Centi had it coming since last week but I didn’t expect it to turn into what it did. Actually I had intense Full Metal Alchemist vibe here. So it seems they really do turn into…zombies. I just find it weird that they can actually stand rather than lie there like..a doll might. Also that MeiMei? or w/e her name is voiced by Yukarin…well if she wasn’t annoying before, not that she’s a traitor she’s annoying 10x. It appears when Kakkou uses his bug it like takes over his arm and merges with it. (I was getting King of Bandit Jing vibes.)
So then once they shot at Centi’s centipede…I guess it was too late because the bug had “eaten” his dreams or something so it like “merged” with his soul/body/mind/etc. This is where I was like whoa it’s all like FMA & shit eww. Eyeballs mouths and hands in random places yuck lol. It seems like Kakkou also “merged” all the way up to his face with his bug in order to shoot a more powerful …laser thing. It’s interesting how Kakkou’s organization seems to have a better control of their bugs than Ladybird’s gang. So despite Ladybird saving Centi from the bug, she couldn’t save him from the “lose bug lose soul” thing. Poor guy. Sadly my guess next week is mosquito boy might die =/.

I was thinking Vash the Stampede for the Bug-Gun actually.
It’s off topic but, what happened to HanaKimi for this week?
Aroduc> oo yea XD I knew I seen that before somewhere.
moko> I was attempting to watch it on the subway but the damn thing encoded all bad and there was no sound….and I had too many shows Thursday so hopefully I can watch it after work today.
I have a little question. How come they’re killing off the bug-users while the organization itself has members that can use bugs? I’ve watched all 4 episodes and I can’t seem to figure out why they’re at each other’s throats.
Ivy as far as people tell me….KAkkou’s organization wants to “collect” the “soulless people” and do something with them…while Ladybird’s organization wants to try to collect them in order to try to “Save” them and help them take control of their bug so that they “co-exist” with it and it doesn’t eat their dreams (like it did with Centi).
So far this anime has really impressed me in terms of animation, character design and overall plot. It develops at an easy pace so that you could digest everything that’s been revealed, but not so agonizingly slow that you lose interest.
What my question is, what do you think about Daisuke and Shiika’s relationship? I’m getting a very “romancey” vibe off of them, which is what I’m hoping it’ll turn out to be, but from what it’s categorized, it doesn’t seem like romance is in the agenda at all, so I’m kinda confused.
I’ve seen some series categorized as one thing but you’d see romance near the end (kinda like Infinite Ryvius.) So yea based on the OP I’m hoping for some romance
