There were a few differences from the game this week but generally the episode followed the story sequence. For all I know it could maybe be part of Nona’s story that I didn’t play but I’m just going by Sumomo’s story which I did play. So they decided to put the swim episode before the camping one for some reason. This throws a few things off because in this episode Sumomo finds out that Nona is Prima Asperas, and she will now know this during the camping trip (next week)…when she didn’t know in the game.

Also, Nona, Nadeshiko & Sumomo both failed swim class so the teacher asked Tsuwabuki to coach all of them. At that time, Nona somehow got drunk on a “courage potion” that Kisaragi gave to Sumomo. She was not only drunk but she was head over heels for Tsuwabuki..and was all over him…literally:

So yes Nona CAN swim, but she choses not to, hence why she failed the class. She didn’t show off in front of everyone.

So then comes the cute part where Tsuwabuki teaches Sumomo how to swim. Although I coulda sworn all this happened at once, not with a “break” of 24 hours or w/e. Maybe I’m just forgetting my story here but I think the whole pool scene was together rather than split into 2 days in the anime.

So eventually Sumomo courageously jumps into the pool and catches the drop. Once again, I think the anime overdid it with the crying/hugging Yuki etc. I know she cried a lot at first, but as the game went on this sorta lessed….while in the anime it doesn’t seem to change which doesn’t really do much for her character development. Also the whole jumping on Nadeshiko thing is rather annoying…too many CCS memoirs - sometimes I wonder if she is really supposed to be in those scenes ^^;.

Upcoming Attractions: The camping trip. If they don’t edit it out, all the fanboys will get to see bath scene fanservice.
