Kamichama Karin - 16

Well despite last week’s stupid episode, there was a lot of progress this week. It almost feels like they jumped over an ant hill last week and this week they jumped over Mount Fuji as far as plot. Some of it seems a bit made up but at least parts are somewhat following the manga. So first Himeka has a dream where she meets the other Himeka and the moment their hands touch, the earth “cracks into pieces” and the next morning both Himekas say they had a weird dream last night.

Back at the Karasumas, Kirika somehow gets posessed by a shining red light (lol) which appears to be coming from a ring on some sort of hand statue. I never recall seeing this before in the show so I don’t know where it crawled out of. Because she gets possessed she says she will get rid of the white gods which makes Kirio so happy he glomps her. In the meantime Karin is trying to avoid Kazune because of last week’s “almost kissing” filler. Micchi also tells Karin about how he was in a car accident where his parents died and he survived and was taken in by Kazune’s dad.

Eventually Kirika pops out of the bushes (literally) and asks Karin to go on a date. Karin is confused but agrees. While they’re on a date Kirika buys Karin some eel ice cream (uh gross!?) and when she licks part of it off, Karin is reminded of how when Kazune did the same thing on their “date”. Afterwards, they go to the park where they seem to be the only ones there. Kirika gives Karin an ebil black ring but before she can put it on Karin’s finger, Kazune falls out of the tree and lands on Karin.

Karin is upset that Kazune ruined their “good atmosphere” and after slapping him she runs off. IN the meantime Kazune runs after Kirika demanding to know what that evil ring is and what she wanted to do to Karin. Kirika’s ring goes berserker mode and when Karin sees the huge ray of light she runs towards the direction of it. When she gets there, she sees Kirika walk out of the bushes (again) and pass out on the ground. Karin wants to “take care of her wounds”, but then she feels Kirika’s boobies. Gasping Karin goes “WHY DOES KIRIKA SENPAI HAVE BOOBS!?” Eventually she puts 2 + 2 together and the episode ends.

There was no preview in my raw but next week should definitely be interesting. And god damn I was so tired of Karin drooling after Kirika anyway.

    I guess it’s close enough to the manga… considering that in anime the episode should almost have a story in itself. They have to change it from one part of the manga to one episode, so stuff probably has to be added or changed.

    Enough rambling, the ending of this episode probably has to be one of my most faved moments in Kamichama Karin :p

    yeah dash! kappei as old as hell so it’ll probably be awesome. I watched that anime in Spain, very funny, it’s really popular there and poland and italy.

    Hey is there anywhere you can watch episode 15 and 16 on the internet? I’ve watched up to episode 14… and I dont mind if I skip one episode meaning the 15th… but I would really like to continue this so… if you can please give me a site of recommendation!
