Nanatsuiro★Drops - 03

So this week everyone cuts pieces of paper to attach to the branches for tanabata. There was a cute scene the anime skipped between Sumomo & Tsuwabuki. This week I guess we also get a closer peek at Prima Asperas. Just as expected the scene was done pretty well except I think there was a bit of an overload on the chibis when she was yelling at Sumomo. I also like Asa although I think they’ve made him extremely goofy in the anime. (At least in his dog form, I don’t recall him bringing random objects to her.) Also the Sumomo crying felt a bit overdone.

I liked though that Tsuwabuki came over and comforted her although I couldn’t help but think “Isn’t it time for him to switch into sheep mode?” Also I believe they left this part out but Sumomo told Yuki-chan that she doesn’t like planetariums because they are dark and scary. This actually makes a difference later on when they go on a date…but uhh yea I guess the anime staff sorta left that out. Seems like next week they’re skipping over the camping arc and jumping right into the swimming lesson one. Hopefully we get to see drunk Nona groping Tsuwabuki.

    Ah, well at least they are trying to put introductions on a fast track. I wonder if Japanese Camping is like YMCA camping in the States.

    I am so loving this show! The character design, pacing, romance, overall cuteness is fantasmarific!

    I’m hoping this ends well. It’s the closest thing to Ah! My Goddess that I’ve seen so far. Romantic enough but not too dramatic and funny enough without entering the total “slapstick” area.

    Thank you for pointing me to this. Would have never watched it if it weren’t for your posts. :)

    Crusader> Probably not since at the YMCA camp I went to, I got my foot cut on some glass in the lake and the lifeguard told me to “wait till I get home” :lol:

    Sabrina> Yea it’s really cute but sometimes it feels like the anime is overdoing it (especially some of the chibi scenes.) If they follow the game story I think you will enjoy it (or you can read my game review for spoilers :P)
