Zero no Tsukaima II - 02

Published by Hinano at 3:33 pm under Zero no Tsukaima

See I told you Henrietta gets ass!! But nobody believed me. I never said it had to be non-zombie ass but anyway. I guess they used magic to revive him back to life but as an evil zombie! I mean who ever gets revived to be GOOD? It’s like in that movie My Boyfriend’s Back. All he did was eat people! So anyway he tells her to “Come with him” and then recites their “promise” from 3 years ago. She promptly falls for it and that’s when Saito & Louise hear about her kidnapping.

So eventually after catching up to the princess (with the help of Kirsche and Tabitha), Louise and Saito attempt to stop him from taking her away. Unfortunately she only sees him in her eyes and nothing else so she blindly uses her magic against Saito as well. Eventually Saito manages to hold off a massive hurricane produced by the two of them, while Louise chants a spell breaker…which for some reason rather than breaking a spell totally fries Wales. He then appears to return to his normal form while asking Henrietta to make a promise to “forget about him” and after more crying ensues, he dies for the 2nd time.

Boy that was shortlived.

Upcoming Attractions: Looks like more rivalry between Louise & Siesta.

… it’s kinda sad how Zombies get more action than Saito does; well, he COULD get some action, but he’s a little reluctant to focus on Louise and instead tries to be a not-so-successful ‘player’.

    Well said :P

I always thought that in the scenes where Saito was in Japan, he seemed like a loser. So just because suddenly he is exotic and can use weapons, doesn’t mean he is any better at mingling with the ladies.

But somewhere out there, perhaps there is a familiar with the Manwhore gylph….

Zombies need love, too. GO ZOMBIE, GO.

Haesslich: Now … now … that is what doujins are for.

Also knowing a bit of the novels I can say Seito harem is not exactly small.

As for the “upcoming attraction”, yes I was expecting that (again, novel spoiling) but if they follow up the general idea of the novels its good, trust me on that.

Darkron: It’s not small, but it’s STILL sad how, at least in the anime, he gets almost no attention since he’s too busy making eyes at everyone else and not paying enough attention to Louise. Who, despite her somewhat ‘in-need-of-antipsychotics’ mood swings, really can be sweet and warm towards him. When he’s not being an idiot.

Yes, when she is not whipping him and calling him a dog she can be nice, she have shown that in the first episode but you cannot treat people like crap (and Louise does that because of her inferiority complex) and not expect that to not have a influence.

To make it short, just because someone does love you does not mean you can do whatever you want and that person still love you, at some point that person will be feed up and walk away even if it still loves you.

Also you have to think why he have a harem … Kirche likes him because he stand up for himself, Siesta because he stand up for her and for himself and Louise because he stand up for himself … and that is not something he can just shut off.

Also it was not Seito that was being a idiot, it was Louise that decided to “test Saito” (note to women, never do that … we have 2 heads and they will always be working at the same time but that does not mean we are ruled by either of then, expect for us to be physical attracted to other women even when we are in love with someone, its not something we can shut off but its not something that rule us either) and when Saito had a natural response her inferiority complex kicked in and she started to abuse Saito.

Louise was the idiot in not not having enough confidence in herself … that is exactly what is the danger for their relationship, not Siesta melonpan.

Yes, the spell fried wales-sama because…
    because…
    because…

    it’s a dispel LVL 62.

And whales-sama happens to be animated by…
    magic…

    Therefore… Magic + Dispel LVL 65 don’t mix.

    Hence… Kentucky Fried Cetacean.

And I think Zero no tsukaima is better watched at one sitting rather than waiting every week… because we want to see Tiffania x Louise

    Saito x Tabitha FOREVA’.

Because Tabitha will win in the end.

See! I’ve told you that the Zero-sen will fly again! (And it will not be the last time, there will be more of these in the coming episodes.)

Also, I’m really looking forward for the Louise vs. Siesta matchup, as well as the Saito vs. Giuglio Cesare(?)(Italian name)(ジュリオ・チェザーレ), a mage with two different colored eyes, in the next episode.

o.o what happenes to zombies if they die twice do they go to heaven for the first life and hell for the second…..oh well its just anime not RL ^-^

  13. DarkronNo Gravatar PORTUGALon 16 Jul 2007 at 6:13 pm

Yes Giuglio Cesare is italian, it is actually Julius Caesar in italian.

Darkron> Thanks!:) I got that name from the ZnT official website under the cast and characters page.

Oh man could they be anymore cheesy with the names? XD

  16. DarkronNo Gravatar PORTUGALon 16 Jul 2007 at 10:46 pm

Actually Hinano I do think its mean to be a reference to Julius Caesar since according to (very insane google translation) he is from Romalia.

The names are full of then, just look at Kirche were the rest of her name is the same of Catherine The Great (well both seen to be nymphomaniacs).

    cheesy name = naruto.

  18. DragoonNo Gravatar CANADAon 17 Jul 2007 at 4:36 pm

With the now (re)dead? Wales out of the picture Henrietta might hold a grudge against saito and louise or even henrietta might start liking saito just because he’s another male figure close in her life.

  19. Ren90270No Gravatar UNITED STATESon 17 Jul 2007 at 8:22 pm

Dragoon> Why not! This could be another Shana vs. Yoshida, part II, because of the seiyuus in this anime. Talking about testing their true friendship between Louise and Henrietta if this happens, competing against each other to win Saito’s heart, huh?
And don’t forget to throw in Siesta in the mix, now that’s a three-way!

  20. DarkronNo Gravatar PORTUGALon 17 Jul 2007 at 9:34 pm

Because this is based on a novel and I know the basic outline of what happens so I can say “not going to happen right now”.
