They are pretty much making 3 chapters into 1 episode so 12 episodes=39 chapters (3-4 volumes). Also in relation to Shizuoka-chan ... I would not say she is a ho but she certainly have some ... unusual habits (trust me, you get what I mean in the "swimsuit cafe") and Okimura figured out how she really is.
