This was a much better paced episode. I’m hoping that since the next episode is 2 weeks away, that the pace will remain the same, I doubt they’ll leave the cave, but there should be some actual progress… I’m hoping.

Chiyo is far more than I thought she would be, anime wise. I loved the character in the manga, but didn’t think it would pull off that well. I was utterly wrong. It’s going to be painful, in a year or two when the fight ends.

I don’t understand why bring up Tenten at all if you don’t want to throw her a bone every once in a while. She could at least be elevated to a second rate character. I think the piggy has had more screen time than her.

All in all a good week for Naruto. Was Sai in the ending? In the drawing? Isn’t he a team member? Didn’t notice and don’t feel like scrolling back up. Use your powers Hinano.
