So despite the
horrific episode last week (that I thankfully didn’t have to blog) I rather enjoyed this week’s and I’m really looking forward to next week! (for once) So basically the title is “goodbye my first love” although I had expected Karin to find out that Kirika’s a girl rather than see her talking to Kazune’s bird. The animation was also not so shitty so my guess is stuff that actually follows the storyline is done by a different team than stuff that’s random filler crap. Anyway the episode premise is Karin is having love problems. Continue Reading »

Ok so I guess I am somewhat
officially back but I’m behind way too many shows to go back and blog them now…so I’ll just continue my usual schedule as of today. Those of you who were like “you’re wrong, Naruto isn’t gonna be just about them breaking the rock” well guess what suckasss…IT WAS ABOUT THEM BREAKING THE ROCK! Unless you consider Gai grunting and them showing the sky & trees for 3 minutes as “quality plotline” or them waiting for Itachi to give an answer for another 2 minutes while Deidara & Sasori stared. Also at the end when they finally broke the damn rock, Deidara’s giant bird (pictured on the manga page) was missing in action. I have the manga easily accessible now so I can make comparisons.
Upcoming Attractions: Team Gai wastes time fighting their clones while Chiyo & Sakura get down & dirty with puppets.

So I was actually SUPPOSED to come back yesterday but thanks to Time Warner my internet is a piece of non-working crap. The only internet I have is at work so I’m unable to do any watching/blogging/downloading at home. (Unless I sit on the stone cold steps of the library a block away.) So yea until that’s fixed more hiatusness…and until I catch up on a week of shows. Someone told me there was a Haruhi parody in last week’s Hayate episode! Oh noes I missed it!
The new apartment is ok except some moron who keeps smoking and somehow managing to make my bathroom smell like cigarettes every time…and the randomly deaf woman who lives above and blasts her TV 24/7. (If the letter from the leasing office doesn’t do anything ima go up there, bang on her door and shove a hearing aid up her ass - but I guess one in her ear might be more productive.)
In the meantime, I’ve picked up a nerdy habit of moblogging my (not so) exciting adventures in New York City. Hopefully I will fully function with this blog by this weekend.

And so at last the final saga of the moving series is upon me. Once again I don’t know when I’ll get internet to come back to blog anything so just keep checking I guess

P.S. Now me and JP not only share a domain host, but also an apartment. =3 (/end of mush)

I’m sort of in a hurry to write this post so here’s a short summary. Basically Aiko’s dad goes to see Seiji’s dad who’s a total dick about Seiji taking over the family business (as usual). Eventually he even lies to Seiji and tries to get him to go through with the miai. After Seiji’s dad has a heart attack they all find out that the reason his dad wants Seiji married Asap is because well he’s gonna kick the bucket soon due to heart problems. In the meantime the girls at work find out Seiji and Aiko are engaged and Aiko is put on a special project with wedding dress designs. Unfortunately for Narumi, his father is a rival in this contest but Narumi is determined to win. At the end of the episode Aiko runs into a conversation that his dad is having at the bar and overhears that the reason her mother died is because she was too weak to give birth…so now Aiko thinks she’s the reason that her father’s “most precious person” was taken away.
Upcoming Attractions: Aiko is so bummed she doesn’t wanna get married anymore.

Just when
you thought it was the last photo and Ken was gonna make all the difference in the world…the drama comes back to slap you with more surprises. So this week is the “last” photo and Ken is determined to change its outcome. He comes back to find himself at a sales meeting because he’s been going around trying to sell white dry eraser boards to companies. He tries to get away but his sales partner makes up some cheesy story about how his kids will die of starvation because he can’t make money and so convinces Ken to waste time and miss one of his opportunities to intercept the proposal. I liked the episode this week but I don’t really have any parodies to report. I totally missed all the bleeped out words and I know the grandpa and the pendant was in some other anime but I couldn’t pin point to which one. Also the part where Hayate extends his hand going “I’ll protect you is that ok?” to Nagi, was probably some other show parody. I guess unless I see something directly parodied like Inuyasha or whatnot, its hard for me to directly figure out what they’re trying to make a satire of.
Upcoming Attractions: I think it’s Christmas again? And for some reason Hayate wears a wedding dress o_o (probably another Nagi fantasy.)
