So this week was a fun episode and I’m glad to see things are progressing between Karin & Kazune. In case you haven’t realized it already in the opening sequence, the burned photo of Karin next to “someone” that person is obviously Kazune ^^;. I’ve completely lost hope in ever seeing animation as good as it was in episode 1. Some scenes look really good while others look like they were drawn with their feet. Also is Micchi out of character or what? I don’t remember him being this huge molester nor do I recall him being gay for Kazune.

So anyway Karin is still nervous about hearing Kazune’s confession and goes into major dokidoki mode when he asks her to “go out” with him the following day and “not tell Himeka about it”. Karin dresses up all nice and meets Kazune in the park or wherever that was. What I don’t get is…why did they “meet” when they live in the same house? Was that to like keep it a secret from Himeka I guess? Anyway Kazune doesn’t tell her anything and to Karin it just seems like they’re on a date.

At one point Karin tries to act less feminine so it seems less like a date. She orders manly food and when 2 thugs attack them, she tries to change into god form but Kazune beats the crap outta them before she can do so. Also when they are eating ice cream Kazune “tastes” Karin’s by licking a bit off. Omg Indirect Kiss!!! :OOOO They also run into the Karasumas and Karin finds out that Kirika doesn’t “have a girlfriend”. Har Har. When is Karin gonna find out Kirika’s a chick? I’m so grossed out every time I watch this.

Eventually Karin finds out that Kazune asked her out to help him pick a birthday present for Himeka. Karin picks out this half clock necklace…and it’s the same necklace (except the other half) that the Karasumas get for “their” Himeka’s birthday present. Karin also bakes Himeka a cake which she claims is sloppy but other than the candles in weird places it looked fine to me. Himeka blows out the candles and everyone cheers. Kazune also gives Micchi his ring back saying that it’s got a seal on it and he can’t kamika with it. Micchi says that Kazune’s dad is Micchi’s “life saver” and was also the one who gave him that ring.
