So despite the horrific episode last week (that I thankfully didn’t have to blog) I rather enjoyed this week’s and I’m really looking forward to next week! (for once) So basically the title is “goodbye my first love” although I had expected Karin to find out that Kirika’s a girl rather than see her talking to Kazune’s bird. The animation was also not so shitty so my guess is stuff that actually follows the storyline is done by a different team than stuff that’s random filler crap. Anyway the episode premise is Karin is having love problems.

Shi-chan offers her some advice and says that if she really likes someone, she would know a lot about them and have a lot of reasons to like them. When Karin thinks of Kirika, all she can come up with is “cool, nice, and good looking”. She tries to think up of multiple possibilities but keeps coming up with those 3. She then decides to stalk Kirika to see if she can find some new things to learn about her. Unfortunately for Karin, Kirika AND Kirio are both aware of Karin doing this.

Kirio tells Kirika that she should take advantage of the situation and destroy Karin. Kirika is angry and walks out of the student council office. Kirika then catches Karin in the act and tells her to “stay away for her own good”. Karin is upset and runs off crying. She then realizes that Kirika was trying to tell her something but when she goes to look for her, it turns out that she’s talking to the human form of Kazune’s bird. Karin thinks Kirika has a girlfriend and runs off to cry some more (gahhh enough already).

Kazune sees her crying and asks her what’s wrong. Karin yells at him saying that she’s a lonely old bag and happy people like him should go be happy with their partners. Kazune is confused so Karin blatantly tells him to go worry about Himeka. Kazune says uhh ok and walks off. He is then talking to Micchi and saying he wants to check out his ring that Micchi claims was given by Kazune’s grandpa. Micchi says that he wants something in return. At that point Karin goes to appologize for yelling at Kazune but sees the two talking and hides behind a tree. Just then Micchi asks if Kazune like Karin and Kazune says yes - and Karin hears it all.
