   yeah, that crawled like a crippled snail. i didn’t hate it though, because:

   1) it was drawn fairly well, imo.
   2) neji’s expression during the Team Gai/fight-o huddle made me laugh. so did the wireless radio joke. i’m easily amused.
   3) I was looking forward to the sakura-boulder-breaking moment anyway.

   I hope they don’t give short shrift to sakura’s battle because that went on for several chapters. otoh, at this pace, that means we’re going to be watching chiyo and sakura fight for a couple of months straight. ^_^

   Yah, it was only worth watching for the last 5 minutes or so, otherwise it was rather annoying.

   Anyone else notice that they didn’t do the ‘Gaara floating in nothingness’ scene? Either way the Anime seems rather sloppy compared to the manga now. They seriously need to get some better animators.

    Dang I haven’t watched this show in ages! Life just wont permit me to waste 30 mins on an anime that I wasn’t too enthused about in the first place. Maybe when I come back to anime in 2-3 years they’ll be caught up to the manga…ha.

    I thought the episode was okay. The only part that annoyed me was the Gai-sensei grunting scene…^^; The Itachi pause was tolerable…

    The anime will never fully catch up the magna.That’s why we had to sit through a YEAR+ worth of filler episodes.They slow down the pace intentionally during the regular season so that we CAN’T catch up to the manga,otherwise we’d have one of 2 scenarios:

    a.we go back to watching a year (or two) worth of fillers
    b.they take Naruto off the air for a year(or two) while they make new episodes.

    Which would you prefer to happen?Watch crappy Naruto eps or no Naruto eps?

    i started hatin shippuuden after thsi episode…they were all like:

    238-ENTER THE ENTRANCE
    239-CHASING THE BAD GUYS/SAKURA FITE WITH SASORI/TEAM GAI FITE CLONES
    239-CHASING THE BAD GUYS/SAKURA FITE WITH SASORI/TEAM GAI FITE CLONES
    240-CHASING THE BAD GUYS/SAKURA FITE WITH SASORI/TEAM GAI FITE CLONES

    and it keeps on goin but i don’t wanna spam up your blog
