Just when you thought it was the last photo and Ken was gonna make all the difference in the world…the drama comes back to slap you with more surprises. So this week is the “last” photo and Ken is determined to change its outcome. He comes back to find himself at a sales meeting because he’s been going around trying to sell white dry eraser boards to companies. He tries to get away but his sales partner makes up some cheesy story about how his kids will die of starvation because he can’t make money and so convinces Ken to waste time and miss one of his opportunities to intercept the proposal.

In the meantime, Tadasensei asks Rei to come walk around with him. They eventually come to a large exhibit hall/theatre thing and then and there he proposes to her. Simultaneously here is Ken who’s finally done with all his sales crap and he’s running to try to find Rei. He managed to sell some white boards to Mikio’s company. He also told Mikio that his g/f wasn’t pregnant and then Mikio and his g/f had another one of their dramatic/makeup fights. When Ken gets to the architecture lab Tada tells him that he proposed to Rei but she had not yet give him an answer.

Once again Ken is on the run to find Rei. He runs into her at the same place where she previously told him that “he just doesn’t get it.” Ken tells her that its stupid to get married after you’ve only dated for a year and that she’s so young (22) and has her whole life ahead. She says that they will get to “know each other” after they get married and Ken says that’s bs. She tells him that he’s so close to her but yet he doesn’t know anything either. Before she walks away though, he runs up and hugs her from behind asking her “not to go and to marry him instead”. Rei asks why and just mumbles that he doesn’t get it and walks away. Why didn’t Ken say “because I love you” …god wtf.

Finally Rei arrives at the restaurant where Tada is waiting. There she tells him that she has accepted his proposal and will marry him. He puts the ring on her finger and they have a toast. In the meantime, Ken takes the cheap engagement ring he bought and places it on the “Dont Knock New York” cardboard cutout thing. He walks over to the place where Rei & Tada are, and is in time for the photographer to snap a photo of them with him in the background again. In the present, he finds out that there’s 1 more photo left…and that’s because Mikio who’s aware of the time traveling, requested one more photo, 1 more chance for Ken to change his destiny.
