This episode put all sorts of grins on my face So the Atlas guy called Narumi saying he wanted to do the deal and Narumi and Aiko were both really happy…that is until he got to office the next day. He got a call from I guess his agency? or whoever telling him that he’s going against contract by making such a personal deal and that they will not allow it. They were not supposed to know about this but someone, aka Makihara had leaked it and Narumi figured out that it was her. She said she did it because she was worried about the company but in reality its because she was jealous of Aiko.

Makihara leaves the office after this and doesn’t show up for a few days. In the meantime Seiji proposes to Aiko but too shocked to respond properly and no time to face her dad she hides the ring in her room. They then find Makihara drunk at that bar they go to and there she spills the beans about how for 10 years she’s tried very hard on her own to get where she is. Because of this she had no time to have a social life and she fell for Narumi…so it pissed her off that he chose to take Aiko with him over her. Aiko Seiji and Aiko’s dad are shocked to hear this….oh well I guess us as the audience saw that coming.

She falls asleep and Aiko and her dad take her home and she wakes up in Aiko’s room the next day. In the meantime, that agency/board whatever tell Narumi they will fire him for doing what he did. Aiko wants to help but she can’t do anything so she begs Makihara to help as well. Makihara then brings Mr. Atlas before he leaves for his flight to Paris..and he says that if Narumi is fired, then he will cut all contracts with them as well. The agency dude has no choice so he says “just this once” he will make an acception. Mr. Atlas says he likes Narumi because like himself, Narumi “loves clothes.”

Later on, Makihara appologizes to Narumi and then he says how her quitting would be a problem for him, but she replies with him leaving the company would be a problem for her. He smiles and so does she and Aiko and Seiji see all this. Makihara tells Aiko she decided to learn from her but tells Aiko not to be model after herself. Aiko and Seiji leave to go home and on the way Seiji says he’ll take the ring back because they’re not ready but Aiko says it’s ok for them not to get married for a while and the ring will be like a “guide” for them so she lets him place the ring on her finger. They go back to the bar and her dad then attempts to take it off her hand when suddenly Seiji’s dad calls him. He demands that Seiji break up with Aiko and come home because he has a miai planned for him the next day.
