Happy 500 Posts! Ok so that had somewhat of a different outcome than I expected! But anyway now that Aiko broke up with Seiji, that ho at work is totally hitting on him. Unfortunately since he is her assistant there’s not much he can do about it. Japan needs to seriously update and follow their workplace sexual harassment policies. Aiko is pretending to be happy by getting up super early, vacuuming and doing laundry. Aiko’s dad is trying to figure out in the meantime how to make her feel better and the bar lady lends her an ear for some girl talk.

In the meantime, Narumi is having trouble landing a deal because of issues people have with his father. He tries to say that he is not involved with what his father does, but gets yelled at that the reason they give a damn about him in the first place, is because of his father. After a failed meeting, Narumi tells Aiko that for “lunch break” they’re going bowling. As a joke he says that if she gets a gutter then she’s fired. He then tells her that he doesn’t want to be like his father and treat people like bowling pins. Later on when she makes a joke about him being fired for getting a gutter he turns around and smiles (where she can’t see him.)

Aiko’s father has gone to see Seiji’s mom. Seiji then happens to be there as well and it’s a weird situation. Aiko’s dad explains that he only wanted to see what kind of person she was because she would be someone that Aiko would consider a “mother” if she and Seiji got married…since her real mother is deceased. When they come back Aiko told Seiji that if he cuts ties with his family, she can’t date him and especially since she would also cut ties with her “mother” in law. (who likes mother in laws anyway??)

Aiko then goes to see Seiji’s mom and luckily manages to grab her before she leaves. She pleads for her to make up with Seiji, and that she and Seiji have already broken up. Seiji shows up and he and his mom make up; she then tells him that she lied and his father doesn’t know that she has contacted him - because if he did he’d drag Seiji right back home to take over the business. She smiles and then tells him to not be afraid of his father, and with that she leaves. Aiko is glad they made up and he thanks her and asks to also have a last chance to thank her father. After thanksgiving, they’re about to say their final breakup good byes when Aiko begs her father to “allow her to date Seiji” again. XD I dunno. Back at the ranch, Narumi has plans to leave the firm and take Aiko with him.
