Well that was rather anticlimatic. They’re once again stretching things out this week by wasting 5-6 minutes on a flash back, another 5-6 minutes on the same fighting we saw last week and another 3 min on people standing staring at each other. Looks like the stuff I wanted to happen this week is actually happening next week. So yea Naruto is still at it with his fight with Itachi. It looks like he’s realized that he’s in a genjutsu however it doesn’t seem like he’s gonna be able to get himself out of it (despite the flashback filler of his training.) Gai is still fighting Kisame while TenTen, Lee and Neji spend the whole episode in water bubbles. Continue Reading »

So while I have not been blogging this show, I do actively watch it every Thursday (because it comes out late on Wednesday and by the time it downloads I’m headed for bed.) So yea I’d like to honestly say I’ve really enjoyed this episode because of this scene:

I think the fact that this is “romeo” and “juliet” no longer really registers in my head as much as “this is an anime that has hugging and kissing yay!” So for all it matters this could be Ryouta and Junko who want to be together but can’t because their families, the Kawasumi’s and Moriyama’s are enemies. Oh and that blonde ho getting stood up really tickled my fancy.
