Nagasarete Airantou - 07

Published by Hinano at 5:40 pm under Nagasarete Airantou

I sat through this episode like Ayanami Rei - emotionless and didn’t crack a single smile. I mean it had cats in it and the only thing that made me go “heyyy…” is that part where the dogs did the “bunshin no jutsu”. Harr Naruto. Yea I don’t really know what to say about this show. This episode is a prime example of why I stopped purchasing the manga. Nothing about it stands out and I only wait for the episodes where Suzu finally cracks and wants to have Ikuto’s babies. I think that’s all that’s keeping me attached to this show. I still don’t like any of the other characters (never really did in the manga) and for some reason the pig seemed cuter in the manga but that’s because he said “Bu” in every other panel while here he’s kinda silent. I hope next week will be better.

I love this show. I’m understanding your point of view; it’s kind of pointless/plot-less at times, but I’m drawn to the main characters budding relationship more than anything.

The other characters aren’t really a draw for me either, but the priestess sisters are hilarious! I don’t know why but the blue haired one cracks me up incessantly. And the bear episode was very funny. You already commented on the bishounen bear and all. I haven’t seen episode 7, just watched 6 last night, but I’m hoping this show ends well. I’ve even avoided reading about it on Wikipedia just for the surprise.

It’s a lot like Lucky Star; it’s off center even if you love the show. I’m intrigued by the “monster” with the red eyes. It’s shown in the first episode in the ocean when the ship leaves Ikuto; and then again in episode 6. I’m intrigued for some reason. I hope it doesn’t turn out too stupid.

And that “evil spirit” was funny too. The lesbian “sister” who’s obsessed with the Rin is creepy to me for some reason; and not funny at all. Plus I never get tired of seeing the Anime Ostrich. Like a tennis ball with features and legs. So cute.

Plus other than Hayate no Gotoku & Naruto; we don’t watch the same stuff. (I found your site by a Naruto link.) So what will we argue about on the Internet. Surely more than that Hinata comment your slick ass tried to slip into the last Naruto thread isn’t enough. :)

Regardless; if you give it up I’m pushing for you to try Claymore or Kaze no Stigma. It wouldn’t kill you to broaden your anime horizons. :P

    LOL ;)
Man your comment almost got eaten by spam!

I did try Kaze no Stigma. It reminded me of Tokyo Underground that I watched back in the day (the whole wind user thing). The main girl annoyed the hell out of me too and the “cold main guy” made me roll my eyes lol
