Hayate no Gotoku - 07
So this week we have a barrage of Inuyasha parodies and for the first time I actually caught what they were saying through the “bleeps” both times! XD Also not pictured here but at the end of the episode, the short kid was like “Tengen Toppa” and the Gurenn Lagan part was cut off. Nice job anime team!

There weren’t this many blatant parodies in the manga. They’re turning this into a Leslie Neilson movie.

And sane singaporeans don’t like lucky star. There was a comment on the now defunct tenban gurren or what ever blog that summarised what someone from 4chan said about luckystar.
“Lucky Star is a pool full of AIDS”
Someone said somewhere on someone’s blog that if Kyoto animation animated bovine faecal material, people would still flock to watch. I think it was on JP’s.

Naked Gun is a funny movie but its a strait parody movie.
That is the problem, Gintama is a parody but Hayate is not, its a comedy and there lies the issue, it does have parodies but they are not as “in your face” as in the anime (and not as many per chapter).
As for Lucky Star … I do not watch it and from what I read I have no intention of ever watching it, its seem people most picked up is because of the “KyoAni factor”.
The last Lucky Star had an amazing Initial D parody tho’.
I have to admit I chuckled once during this episode which is an improvement I suppose. Ah well… I guess I’ll just try to sit back and enjoy the show rather than trying to overanalyze why the comedy is failing and has been failing (IMO, for me, etc…) since the 3rd episode.
I really can’t wait to see Hayate in a c*****. OMG He actually looks like a girl!
I love Lucky Star, I love Gintama and I love Hayate no Gotoku!
I don’t understand why people hate Lucky Star when they can love all the anime…
and I wouldn’t say Lucky Star is a parody anime, it is a slice of life anime with some parodies but it’s not a comedy anime although some scenes are funny.
