Hayate no Gotoku - 06

Lotsa parodies I caught this week XD My favorite was the one for next week’s preview where Hayate says “service service!” like they did in the previews for Evangelion TV series. Anyway this week Hayate comes back from fighting those bad guys from ep 1-2 again as well as that kimono girl’s mob of servants. I noticed pretty much everything in Hayate is a parody “Oh I’ve seen this samurai battle before” or “Oh look another scene of a girl in a bathtub” but I guess I only like to point out the not so “typical” parody scenes. (Such as little easter eggs you find throughout the episode. Those are always more fun to point out to me. Anyway the obvious first one this week was a painting of a blue Pikachu on Nagi’s wall.

This felt like a Naruto parody to me, how they always jump huge tree branches like that.

I dunno if it’s considered a parody but Hayate x Nagi are my OTP XD

Someone emailed me a link to some Hayate manga scans (too bad they were all in Chinese and I couldn’t read T_T) but in one of the most recent chapters I totally saw him hugging Nagi and grabbing her butt XDXD It made me laugh. I hope they do some HayaNagi stuff in the anime :3

Upcoming Attractions: Nagi’s arranged marriage person or something??? Oh noes a rival!

    Shokagukan owns all the easter eggs, hence their blatant advertising… err.. use of them. The ones they bleeped out are things they don’t own.

    Ha ha, I love HayatexNagi, too ^_^ And the leaping feels like a parody of so many things to me–InuYasha, about every shounen manga ever … yeah, definitely includes Naruto for me as well ^_^

    Well, the reason for the Conan appearing everywhere is probably because both series are running on Shounen Sunday magazines, as does Inuyasha and MAR.

    ’はやてのごとく’と’らき☆すた’はパロディーが多くて海外の人には、わかりにくいと思う。
