So with Anime Next coming in 2 months and me still being as unemployed as ever, I decided to get back into Doujinshi making. As usual, my next one features Naruto x Sakura once again but this time in an alternate/modern day setting. It seems to have gotten a positive feedback over at deviantart, let’s hope the same will go for con goers XD

This is me on the train to Secaucus, July 6th.

The big issue for me this time around is I’m on Windows Vista which hates Manga Studio. So I’m stuck alternating between that and Photoshop and dealing with hitting the eraser button 20 times before it actually erases something e_e;; ドンマイドンマイ。

With that in mind, I’ve added a Doujin page to this site, to keep track of updates and perhaps provide information for online purchasing. (I’m thinking of using google checkout for any con leftovers this time around instead of Pay Pal.)

As I was writing this post I found I was rejected from yet another position which threw me into another “I’m never getting a job” spiral. So this summary may start to sound robotic. Maybe Hung was right when he said #4 is the bad number because this week was a huge improvement on the animation quality. Not as great as the op but definitely better than last week’s disaster. I only saw maybe 3-4 actual scenes that lasted long enough for me to notice how crappily they were drawn. (There was one scene where Himeka looked like she was pregnant lol!) I actually liked their touch this week when they did the Koge Donboish version of Karin’s eyes in certain closeup scenes. Continue Reading »
